I think it's important to prioritize mental health. For the past year or so, that's what I've been doing. I'm a small artist, but most of my following I got when I was at the lowest point of my life, and art was my only way to escape the trauma and anxiety (1/?)

@rrat_bonaparte @ADHDForReal My problem is I'm so used to pain I can work at 5 or 6. I was literally sent to school after i stepped on the dull end of a needle and it went THROUGH my toe in middle school, so I was set up to fail this from the start 😭

Husband’s fault. Idiot was told explicitly by doctors that she needed to stop getting pregnant. And that she couldn’t be alone with the kids. He continued to do both incessantly. Even his own cult leader pastor wrote to him telling him don’t leave the kids alone and he still did

Even fully deaf people can enjoy music through the vibrations. Its why youll see sign language interpreters at concerts sometimes, so they can engage with the lyrics as well

@beesbumbled I work with kids. There are so many ways to deal with it. You could literally create a moment where everyone sings including you if you want, get it out of their system, and then you can get back to what you were doing.

@Dharmaxgreg What's crazy is that one of the coworkers who wasn't feeling it was on mac duty next potluck. She brought it in a slow cooker with the condom thing so you don't have to wash it with the gelatinous Velveeta cheese. Pasta and Velveeta seasoned with micro plastics that's it.

I made mac and cheese for my girlfriends work potluck once and put my heart into it. Roux, 6 cheeses, bacon bits, layered and spiced, browed to perfection. It returned home with some of the middle scooped out, no crust touched. I almost fell to my knees.
