Men have no right in woman's sport, that's cheats. Men have no right in woman's toilets, stand up the man you are. Men have no right in woman's spaces, that's perverse. Lipstick, a dress and a wig does not make you a woman, but a fraud. Woman do not have a penis 💯 🤦 #LeaveTheKidsAlone #SexNotGender #TransWomanAreConmen #TransWoman #SexMatters Listen 👇👇👇👇👇💯🎯

I’ve read a fair amount of insults thrown at @iamtomskinner today but what he said here was the most truthful contribution on the panel. He’s a businessman and understands the pinch small businesses and working people are experiencing under this Labour government. #bbcqt

Labour voters. What is Labour doing that you are sticking with them? Is it based on sound logic or is it just tribal loyalty?

RT @Malcolm_Offord: The SNP's calamitous 19-year reign must end, and Labour have proven themselves to be just more of the same. We'd not to…

@Fat_Jacques @NicciHowe @tsmiggy The state pension you receive is deducted from your tax allowance, and that's why you pay tax. Sunak froze the threshold and it remained £12570 since, with Reeves announcing it will remain.

It’s taxable. UC isn’t. Untaxable (tax-free) UK benefits (state benefits not subject to Income Tax): • Attendance Allowance • Bereavement Support Payment • Child Benefit (subject to High Income Child Benefit Charge in some cases) • Disability Living Allowance (DLA) • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) • Universal Credit • Housing Benefit • Council Tax Reduction/Support • Income Support (in most cases) • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) • Cold Weather Payments • Winter Fuel Payments • Christmas Bonus • Armed Forces Independence Payment • Constant Attendance Allowance • Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (in most cases) Taxable UK benefits (state benefits subject to Income Tax): • State Pension (New and Old State Pension) • Carer’s Allowance (or Carer Support Payment in Scotland) • Contribution-based Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) • Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA, contribution-based elements) • Widowed Parent’s Allowance • Bereavement Allowance (for deaths before 6 April 2017) • Incapacity Benefit (from the 29th week) • Industrial Death Benefit pensions (certain cases) • Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay (treated as earnings) Some benefits trigger reduction of others. E.g. Carer’s Allowance triggers a reduction in Universal Credit.

Crazy i have a small extra income of around £3200, which takes me over the threshold of £12570, when added to my state pension. So i have to pay tax. Yet i know people on other benefits that receive far more than that tax free. How can that be fair.

@tsmiggy @terryelaineh1 Amazing isn’t get basic pension & small private pay tax over personal allowance. Get benefits upwards of £35.000 pay none or NI. Make it make sence.

Today is polling day in North Lincolnshire and this is your chance to send a clear message 🗳️ I’ve been out this morning in Axholme Central backing our brilliant @reformparty_uk candidate, Gerrad, speaking to residents who are ready for real change. If you’re in Axholme Central, vote Gerrad. If you’re in Brumby, get out and back Ellen. North Lincolnshire needs Reform and today your vote can make it happen. 🇬🇧➡️

@miriam_cates I like you Miriam but I wish you didn’t support expanding intrusive state surveillance. The tories are meant to defend a smaller state but stuff like this just reminds people that they often default back to doing the opposite.

Due to a lack of support from the party, I am withdrawing my candidacy for Reform with immediate effect. I thank all those who have supported me, and I wish the remaining candidates well.

David, you’re completely missing what this was really about. It wasn’t a random disruption. It was a deliberate protest against the fact that our Prime Minister simply refuses to answer questions he doesn’t like in PMQs , and @LindsayHoyle_MP lets him get away with it every single time. Compare that to the way @BorisJohnson was treated when he was in the chair. Same Speaker, same chamber, totally different standards. One set of rules for a Labour PM, another for a Conservative one. What is the actual point of Prime Minister’s Questions if the man at the despatch box can just dodge, deflect or ignore anything uncomfortable? It’s supposed to be the moment the elected government is held to account by the elected opposition – not a weekly press conference where Starmer reads out pre-approved lines and the Speaker protects him. Parliament exists for one core reason: so the people we elect can scrutinise those in power on our behalf. When that scrutiny is neutered, democracy isn’t just strained, it’s broken. That’s why Reform MPs did what they did. And it’s exactly why MPs from every party should now follow their example and say: enough is enough. @Keir_Starmer isn’t just avoiding tough questions. He is openly making a mockery of one of the last remaining democratic checks we have left, and in doing so he is treating the British electorate with contempt. The public can see it. And they’re not going to forget it.

This is Hoyle chastising Boris for not answering a question. So why is Hoyle not holding Starmer to account.

🚨And there you have it. Lindsay Hoyle misled the house by omitting the fact that he has the power to pause proceedings and ask the prime minister to answer the question. He was quite happy to do this with Boris, but he REFUSES to do it with Keir Starmer. Absolute disgrace.
Lee Harris@LeeHarris

🚨Father of the House Sir Edward Leigh raises a point of order about Keir Starmer NEVER answering questions at PMQs. Lindsay Hoyle says there is nothing he can do. NONSENSE! He can pause proceedings and ask Keir Starmer to answer, but he *never* does. ABSOLUTELY USELESS!

Rumours are growing that Rupert Lowe and Nigel Farage could be preparing to join forces. If true, this would mark one of the most significant political shifts in recent years. A united front, a stronger voice.
