Shane Harrison (PSA) and Jim Pike (@BushelPlus) joined Rory Keady testing harvest losses near Coonamble, NSW.
Running 6 km/h and yielding 40 t/ha, after using the SmartPan System they reduced losses and increased output, now running 7 km/h and 50 t/ha. 💪🌾
@Adamsherry58854@DraffinChris@JacintaAllanMP done that 10 yrs ago regarding sector reform here in Sa, 50 fire trucks on steps of Parliament House, we were more civil about it, got results
@DraffinChris@JacintaAllanMP You poor bastards. I’m in south Oz shitting my pants looking over the border at you guys. We’re not in as bad shape, we’re heading down your path though.
On episode 420 of how to do things differently. Put a drum down to line tractor up for a straight bag then steer tractor around drum instead of moving it. I shit u not🙄#bellends
@IamFarmerRenee A simple look at the older farming population (croppers) should show if there is chemical poisoning , weather Parkinson’s, Hodgkins Lymphoma or other. In my local community these diseases don’t stand out as a higher percentage vs the rest of non farming community.
@CorbinSchuster We should ask our farming industry body reps to raise this issue. For me as a farmer the Buckland park radar has never been much use since it’s major upgrade a few years ago. Would a radar on EP help SA?
Which federal politician is in charge of the Bureau of Meteorology?
I think there needs to be an investigation into why the computer models used by the BOM have become horribly inaccurate this year (Bad input data?)
It's becoming near impossible to make good decisions on-farm with such unreliable and wildly varying forecast models.
This is not a reflection on the Bureau, they're only as good as the tools/models at their disposal, but we should be striving for better accuracy!
I have had a package lost in the post, it’s been tracked with its last tracked position being Kadina SA. It has been declared lost. My farm insurance won’t cover it, has anyone had any luck pursuing @australiapost ? It was a tracked parcel images.app.goo.gl/ohsYa8XWNFB6go…
Used to get good reception down this road (3G), now nothing! Finding it elsewhere too. Signal is reduced. Anyone else finding this? @Telstra @GrainProducerSA #agsafe
@BlacketPeter 😂 not panicking just yet but a early June break is pushing the limit.
I wonder if the dopey strawberry grower has started to blame the "elites" yet?
A slo-mo video of Teejet TTI 02, when a solution of wetter is in the boom initially, and On Coarse adjuvant is introduced into the boom line.
The “white” fan becomes “clear”, with coarse droplets returning to Ultra Coarse. 👌👌 < 1% driftables. 👏👏

@IanCocko 4, almost forgot, lastly balance. Bearing at each end without seals or grease, just lube with wd40 or thinner. Weld balance weights on back of flight about 3cm or so in from outer edge
@IanCocko 2, Turn the threaded centre bolt on the puller, the flight will pull up until very little or no gap is left. Then weld that end to the centre tube. You will have excess flight, cut it off after welding. Weld the rest to centre tube but have a weld sequence as not to warp the tube
