@AstroMikeMerri @Goosey30111568 There has just been a further round of income tax cuts in Australia and the tax system is geared to encourage private ownership of real estate and shares and to encourage the accumulation of invested retirement savings. Sounds like communism!

My sister lives in Australia. She has done for 20 years. She's an Australian citizen now. She tell me the Gov't there is the most authoritarian she's ever known. She calls it full-blown Communism. The UK is following the same path.

@AndrewCalvert91 @RoxyTall just a heads up that red lights can hurt their eyes :) it's a myth that they can't see red light, it can just make them strain unnecessarily. A bright halogen light during the day is a better option, and total darkness at night.

On the plane home just now, I was having a mild asthma attack with coughing and sneezing. The Karen next to me had on a mask, and every time I coughed she would put her hands over her mask. Finally she asked “would you mind changing your seat, because you sound like you might have covid.” ME: “I don’t, it’s asthma from the dog whose house I just left.” HER: “Well would you mind if I gave you a mask so you can stop spreading those germs.” ME: “I would mind, because I’m already having trouble breathing, and you’re already wearing a mask. If masks work, won’t yours protect you from me? Discussion ended🤷‍♂️

True story. I was at the grocery store looking at $44 a pound king crab. My household income then was well into the six digits. $44 a pound crab was too much for me. I asked the lady behind the counter who was buying $44 a pound king crab. She looked at me and said those with the EBT cards. That was here in Utah.

I've been doing a lot of research into the food stamp program over the past few days. This scam is so much worse than most people realize. For example, did you know that the average EBT recipient spends MORE on non-essential food items than the average person who pays for his own groceries? The people who are funding the program are living more modestly than the people who are on the program. Absolutely outrageous and disgusting.
