🚨To hold Israel to a higher standard than you do other nations is antisemitic. 🚨To be more upset by human rights in Israel than in other middle east countries is antisemitic. 🚨If you select Israel as the only country you ever criticise, that's antisemitic. 🚨If you fetishise the actions of the only Jewish state, that's antisemitic. 🚨If you only ever criticise the murderous actions of terrorists against Jews with a "but Israel..." caveat, that's antisemitic. 🚨To tell people that most Jews are not Zionists is antisemitic. 🚨To persistently use minority anti-zionist Jewish views to validate your own antizionist views against other Jews, that's antisemitic. 🚨To inform Jews what is and isn't antisemitic is antisemitic. 🚨To persistently believe unvalidated claims of terrorists over the claims of the Israeli government is antisemitic. 🚨To never specifically condemn Islamist terrorism against innocent Jews, that's antisemitic.

Let’s be crystal clear It is NOT antisemitic to criticise the actions of Israeli governments Do NOT be silenced by fear of such a false allegation The stakes are too high

Labour “logic”: Proscribe the IRGC and Muslim Brotherhood. ❌ Ban the hate marches. ❌ Crack down on Islamic sectarianism. ❌ Stop importing thousands of people with antisemitic views. ❌ Deport Abd El Fattah. ❌ Ban Kanye West. ✅ Unserious people.

Kanye West is a vile antisemite but I’m not comfortable with completely banning people from the UK for holding detestable views. Particularly from a government who hosted the Syrian President, Ahmed al-Sharaa just last week.

@AngryBulldog @ImtiazMadmood The pendulum has swung way too far. When the state removes the need for individual responsibility, it removes the reason to excel. Even Beveridge saw this risk coming, and yet here we are, living the 'classroom average' experiment in real-time.

Why Socialism Doesn't Work, Explained for a 10-Year-Old. You're in a class of 30 students. One kid works like crazy and gets an 18 average. Another does nothing and gets a 4. The teacher decides it's unfair and gives everyone the class average: 11. The one who had 18 stops working. Why bother if it changes nothing? The one who had 4 keeps doing nothing. Why work if you're handed 11 for free? The next year the class average is 7. Then 5. Then 3. The teacher doesn't get it. He thinks the problem is that the students aren't supportive enough of each other. So he starts punishing those who don't put in enough effort. He monitors everyone. He decides who studies what. He bans switching classes. That's exactly what happened. Every time. In every country. No exceptions. USSR, China, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Cambodia, Ethiopia, East Germany. 40 attempts. Same result. Every time. Socialism punishes those who produce and rewards those who don't. Everyone ends up producing nothing. And when no one's producing anymore, the government uses force to make people work. It's not an accident. It's the design. - @BrivaelFr

@iherrsonniger @ImtiazMadmood Depends on how far the pendulum goes. Even Beverage was concerned about welfare disincentivising work. We are way too far in that zone. Individual responsibility should never be undermined.

Interesting analogy, but it oversimplifies things. Real-world 'Social Democratic' models (like Denmark or Norway) aren't about giving everyone the same 'grade.' They are about ensuring every student has a desk, books, and a meal so they can actually compete. It’s about a safety net, not a ceiling?

Just a hunch, but perhaps the Church might acknowledge that Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Christians have always been totally free to practise their faith; might stop regurgitating its own patented blood libels about Jewish “atrocities” committed by others; and might state that since Jesus was a Jew from Judea, it’s a malicious lie to claim that the indigenous Jews are now in “illegal occupation” of their own historic homeland.
Humza Yousaf@HumzaYousaf

Just a hunch, but instead of an Easter message, perhaps Christians would prefer you stopped killing them, stopped bombing their Churches, stopped preventing their clergy and congregations from attending their Holy Sites and stopped illegally occupying the birth place of Christ?

Remember when Hamas tied up Gazans for daring to take food, tortured them with iron bars, broke their ribs and legs, and then executed them? Guess what? The same hypocrites who bash Israel every day haven’t said a single word about it. I wonder why?

I think the Islamic regime of Iran is in far worse shape than people realize. -Reports are about Iraqis, old men and women at checkpoints. Mass desertion and casualties for the IRGC and Basij likely explain this. -The leadership has been replaced multiple times over. Some higher level military roles have been replaced between 3 and 5 times since last June. -Communication as well as command and control disruption has created chaos. -Their weapons industries are destroyed. Their oil industry is a fraction of what it was and they are getting no LNG revenue. -Huge divisions in the regime and IRGC. -Morale is at an all time low and it’s reflected in minuscule regime rallies. -Bank disruption leading to payment delays for the military. -Their mosaic protocol is running on fumes. It’s not meant to be a permanent operational status and they are being forced into more pressure and chaotic situations. Isolated from any central command. The longer they have no opportunity to reconstitute, the more you can expect desertion or defection. The reality is, the regime is both entrenched and a house of cards at the same time. It’s not endlessly resilient. The United States and Israel are continuing to apply pressure looking for the linchpin to the full collapse. The regime is absolutely not winning. - @HashemMelech048

The Green Party isn't far left or extreme left. It has common sense, mildly left-wing policies that the Labour Party used to have. It's not far left to care.

This is an all-important question What proportion of Muslims are prepared to compromise in order to create a multi-cultural society, given that the Koran exhorts true Muslims to kill them for apostasy ?
The British Patriot@TheBritLad

Not all Muslims are terrorists. Not all Muslims are paedophiles. Not all Muslims are rapists. That’s what we’re constantly told. So here’s a simple question: Where are the “good” Muslims publicly and consistently calling out the “bad” ones?? Anyone??
