I started developing HS13 just over 2 years ago to attempt to bring the homescreen widgets from this iOS 13 concept youtu.be/SlcOS4mHRm0 to to realty. It has lasted longer and turned out better than I ever imagined.

WILD OPERATION 🔴 Israel hacked Tehran’s traffic camera network for years, feeding the footage into advanced intelligence analysis to monitor the routines, movements, work locations and protection details of senior Iranian officials and Khamenei’s bodyguards. That long-term surveillance helped map patterns of life and provided critical targeting information that, combined with other signals and human intelligence, enabled the airstrike that killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. - FT

Kalshi promoting a Khamenei "leaves office" market while everyone thinks he's dead, knowing that if he is dead they freeze the market and pocket the fees. Just incredibly cynical stuff. I'm a big fan of Kalshi and prediction markets generally, but this is really horrible behavior.

I always laugh at yo-yo’s who don’t have the 1st clue what information the President had that forced this decision. Even politicians who despise him but were briefed on the situation seem to agree with this operation. I guess lotta podcasters know better. 😂. Gotta keep the lights on somehow. Borderline traitors if you ask me. Iran is a terror nation with a long history of some of the worst human rights atrocities in the world. Nobody disputes that fact. They hate Americans. They hate Israel. They hate all Jews. They hate the West. They would kill us all if given the chance. They just murdered tens of thousands of their own people. The rest of the Middle East is on our side. The Iranian people are on our side. It isn’t that complicated to support our Troops and our country this morning. We are on the right side here. God Bless America . 🇺🇸 x.com/WhiteHouse/sta…

🚨 BREAKING: LARGEST AIR OPERATION IN IAF HISTORY 🚨 The IDF confirms that approximately 200 Israeli fighter jets carried out the largest military flyover ever conducted by the Israeli Air Force. 🔹 Hundreds of munitions dropped 🔹 Around 500 targets struck 🔹 Iranian missile arrays and air defense systems hit 🔹 Western and central Iran targeted The operation, directed by precise IDF intelligence, simultaneously synchronized hundreds of aircraft. Among the key targets: A surface-to-surface missile site in Tabriz that was preparing to launch dozens of missiles at Israeli civilians. The strikes severely degraded the Iranian regime’s offensive capabilities and expanded Israeli aerial superiority over Iranian airspace. The IAF continues operations. The IDF states it will continue degrading every aspect of the Iranian regime’s military infrastructure.

When shareholders first voted on @elonmusk’s 2018 pay package, #Tesla was not in any index, and the pay package won decisively. In the second vote, forced by an activist Delaware judge, $TSLA was 1.2% of the S&P 500, and the pay package won decisively. Now $TSLA is 2.4% of the S&P 500, not enough for index funds to swing the vote, and I believe that Elon’s new package will win decisively. Although the proxy firm ISS has recommended against the package, retail investors are likely to dominate the vote once again. America!
Cathie Wood@CathieDWood

Isn’t it sad, if not damning, that institutional shareholders rely on proxy firms to tell them how they should vote?Index funds do no fundamental research, yet dominate institutional voting. Index-based investing is a form of socialism. Our investment system is broken.

Eli Sharabi could have collapsed upon his release, when he learned that his entire family had been murdered. Instead, he wrote a book, now #4 on The New York Times bestseller list. Matan Angrest told the IDF Chief of Staff, just days after his release, that he’s ready to return to duty, and to go back to Gaza to bring back Itay Chen’s remains. Maxim Herkin apologized to his mother for taking so long to come home. Avinatan Or’s first message after two years completely alone in a cage in a dark tunnel was: “Our strength is in our brotherhood. Only through love will we win.” A nation of giborim 💜

In a breathtaking and emotional scene last night, Matan Angrest, who was freed from Hamas captivity only two days prior, spoke at the funeral of his IDF commander Daniel Perez, whose body was returned to Israel hours after Matan was freed. On October 7, Matan fought for hours against Hamas terrorists at the Nahal Oz outpost alongside Tomer Leibovitz, 19, Itay Chen, 19, and Daniel, 22, their commander. The only survivor of that battle, Matan was kidnapped alive into Gaza, while Daniel and Itay’s bodies were taken into the strip. Itay’s body is yet to return home. In a demonstration of just how important it was for Matan to be at Daniel’s funeral, Rabbi Doron, Daniel’s father, noted that Matan’s doctor told him not to go, and in turn, the Perez family told Matan not to come. But Matan insisted on leaving his hospital in Tel Aviv, and despite not having written a speech, and notwithstanding that, as he told those gathered, “I can barely stand,” he eulogized his commander for six minutes, leaving the funeral’s attendees speechless. “This is the least I can do for Daniel and for my entire team — true heroes,” Matan said. “I didn’t plan to speak. I didn’t even believe I’d make it here. But I had to come.” “Daniel led our heroic battle that Saturday,” Matan noted, calling him “a figure to be admired. My commander will always be my commander, until the day I die. You will go with me until my last day and even in the world to come.” At one point during his speech, Matan turned to the Perez family, saying: “I promise to be there for this family for life — I’m not leaving you, not for a second. Daniel is with me everywhere I go, just like Itay and Tomer. They are part of me. I’m proud we defended Israel under Daniel’s command. He is my hero and will always be my commander.” As for Itay, whose body is still in Gaza, Matan declared: “I’m ready to go back into Gaza right now to bring him back.” So astonishing and moving was Matan’s spontaneous speech that the moment he finished, the entire crowd broke into applause — something that simply does not happen at IDF funerals. There are many things I could say about Matan’s speech and what it says about him and the State of Israel — but I believe it speaks for itself. @amitsegal

Two years. Two years passed since the last moment I saw Avinatan, the love of my life. Two years since the moment terrorists kidnapped us, put me on a motorcycle, and tore me away from Avinatan before the eyes of the entire world. From that moment, our journey in captivity was separated. I was held captive with children, women, and the elderly, while Avinatan was held alone. I was mostly kept inside houses, while Avinatan was only in the tunnels. Hamas released videos and signs of life from me, while there was no information at all about Avinatan. I was held captive by Hamas for 246 days, while Avinatan was held for 738 days. I came back in a heroic rescue operation, and Avinatan returned in a deal. But both of us, against all odds, came home and were reunited! I cannot put into words the range of emotions I felt when I saw him for the first time after so long. Each of us faced death countless times, and yet, after two years apart, we are finally taking our first steps together again in the State of Israel. At last, we can begin our healing together. The recovery will be long; we still haven’t truly processed what has happened here over these past two years. But we won. We won our personal war, and the war of all those who fought alongside us to reach this moment. And now, the time has come to begin our shared journey together. I want to say a huge thank you, first and foremost, to the @IDF soldiers and security forces who have been fighting for so long and risk their lives for us every single day. Thank you to our family, friends, and to the people of Israel, Am Yisrael, who raised their voices when we couldn’t speak. To the people around the world who embraced us, to all the incredible individuals who supported us through the hardest times and never lost hope throughout this long period. To the US government, which opened its doors to me and was always there to listen, especially @SEPeaceMissions Steve Witkoff, @jaredkushner, and the exceptional, President @realDonaldTrump. To all the people who too stood beside our hostages and understood that light must overcome darkness. We will never forget the fallen and the murdered, and we will not stop fighting until every fallen soldier and hostage is brought home for a proper burial in Israel. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This could never have happened without you. We are back ❤️
