During a shooting rampage in Hollywood on December 9, 2011, Chris Johns filmed from his apartment window as 26-year-old Tyler Brehm opened fire on vehicles and pedestrians below. After Brehm shot music executive John Atterberry (who later died from his injuries), Johns began yelling and taunting the gunman from above in an attempt to draw his attention away from other potential victims. Johns was visibly shaken but continued recording and distracting Brehm throughout the incident. Brehm continued his rampage until he was fatally shot by police. Chris Johns’ video went viral and highlighted the bravery of an ordinary citizen who stepped up in a terrifying situation.

@ClownWorld I will always say this, it’s not about black or white . It is about standing up for what is right. Black man committed the offence, black man stopped him. Deal with the situation, don’t generalise it.

Man steals another guy’s backpack in broad daylight, but a bystander in the blue shorts wasn’t having it. He stepped in and tried to get the bag back, holding onto it while the thief refused to let go. Credit to that guy for stepping up instead of pretending he didn’t see anything.

Caught dead to rights on bodycam throwing a man off a bridge. 😳 The second the cop gets out and pulls his gun, this dude immediately hits him with the classic: “He jumped! I ain’t do nothing!” My guy… the cop literally watched you launch that man like a redneck shot put. The victim is doing the backstroke in the river trying to survive, and you’re standing there doing the “Dindu Nuffin” special right in front of bodycam footage. Zero accountability. Zero remorse. Just straight denial while the evidence is both on camera and splashing around in the water below. The lack of self-awareness is actually comedic at this point. 🤦

The guy clearly was half naked and used an unarmed attack on the victim… Cop is suppose to be better than the bad guy.
