The Archivist; Sunday thoughts for our Tribe. First principles thinking. It is a fact that you will be unable to recruit 100% of humanity to your cause, if that cause is a consequential one. This is not to say that it is for lack of integrity or a certain structural component within the idea itself, it is instead to highlight the presence of any number of factors that preclude the mind from hosting the idea, in the full form you understand it to be, to begin with. It might literally be IQ-gated, e.g. a sophisticated global geopolitical strategy. This means the Default position is a pluralism of wills at all times, and thus, factions. You must be very aware that your mind is constantly recruited towards the will of certain powerful and often globally relevant super-factions, the bigger players. These larger entities are constructed from individuals of course, like any body or party is, but develop a certain collectivism that manifests BOTH explicitly via agreement, joint venture, or mutual support, and organically via natural symbiotic relationships born in shared interest in a certain outcome or set of logic pathways. There might be a flag, or a tattoo, or joint participation in a legal entity or club or government entity — regardless the effort is organized, aligned, and intended to be effective. Some of you are recruited directly, but many of you are conditioned, indoctrinated, groomed, even manipulated, and the signs of this are often the lack of socratic method, dissenting opinion, logical pathways with multi-step visibility and general coherence; and my very favorite flag — the presence of high-emotion content matter, particularly when evoking Tribalism. Without dragging on, my point is that you are playing this game whether you like it or not. Knowing this, I suggest you actively craft your faction, and wake up to the power of your agency. Truly reflect on what outcome you want to be aligned with in this life, and organize your strategies to work towards bending reality towards your will. I am a polymath, and a perpetual student of the world. I plan to begin sharing my data collection, clear summaries, and world-information-access strategies here so that my faction can be better equipped to gain power, and affect reality. When tractors revolutionized farming, they could do the work of 50 men. Efficiency went up and production costs went dramatically down. So the cost of food went to almost 0 right? Wrong. The cost of food kept going up and hasn't stopped going up. It's going to be no different with AI.

Yes. There are two very viable, reliable ways to blow up if you have the goods outside of becoming a VERY high earner ($ 1.5m+/yr category): 1) make or acquire the money machine, then take very calculated, highly asymmetric bets alongside a general accumulation strategy, or 2) strap yourself up to a money pot, like Venture Capital, and blow past step 1, to work on, once again, a highly asymmetric opportunity. The big success is going to be a big leverage play, and that play is going to reliably come when you are finding the signs of “enormous / uncapped upside, measured and acceptable downside or personal expense”. Get it done folks.

The math isn’t mathing for your average paper transactions, but high quality real estate is truly scarce, even in a post-scarcity world. There will be incredibly choice assets that exchange hands just once before they are locked away again for decades — tied to the Boomer turnover of assets and death sequence in the market. A few beautiful plays will be made imo. Taste is once again everything.

Forget UBI. The real answer to AI disruption is universal capital ownership. If AI and robots create the wealth, ordinary people should own a share of that productive system and receive dividends from it. Not dependence but Ownership.

I think the Trump administration could gain back a LOT of voters with just a few arrests. Maybe one or two to be specific. People just want to see someone, anyone, held accountable for the unbelievable deception of the last decade. Ilhan Omar looks like low-hanging fruit.
