I’ve noticed some people are trying to twist this into a “Protestant vs Catholic” debate. That’s missing the point entirely. This isn’t about Catholicism versus Protestantism. This is about a Pope openly bowing in a mosque, showing deep reverence to Islam, while an Islamic crescent symbolically transforms into a sword above him. This is about a Pope who appears to be honoring and submitting to Islam rather than defending the Christian faith he was chosen to lead. That’s the real issue here, not some internal Christian squabble. It’s about the head of the Catholic Church publicly elevating Islam in a way that many faithful Christians find deeply concerning and incompatible with historic Christianity.
