I’m really excited for @Rivian on the launch of R2. I think they absolutely nailed this thing from the design, to the specs, trims, pricing etc etc.
The R1 platform never interested me enough to actually own. But honestly the R2 seems perfect for my needs. I definitely will be a R2 customer in the future.
Congrats Rivian team. I hope y’all sell every single one you can make.

Rivian has just announced R2 pricing. The top-end, performance Launch Edition launches for $57,990 with the base model coming next year for $45,000.
A great price for what’s shaping up to be a great car! Can’t wait to test drive it.

@SnazzyLabs Sad they didn’t bump the charging speed. It would have been the perfect road trip car for the family, but 30 minutes from 10-80 and not 200 miles in that time is not going to cut it, sadly.

@KristianArafat @SnazzyLabs Just being honest I have used the Apple branded case and I still can’t get model Y to charge my phone and not just burn it with no charge has anyone been able to charge there phone on the Tesla phone chargers.

I agree with you. I just wish we weren’t looking at that situation, so you are correct. I’m just mad that they are not bringing it back like all the other companies have, like even the Toyota Corolla. But I agree with you. It’s not the point of the post. I love my model 3 that has autosteer.

I’ve got the base Model 3 RWD for a couple days and I’ve gotta say…this is probably the best value Tesla yet.
It’s $5,500 cheaper than the Premium RWD but makes far less compromises than the base Model Y.
Still has a glass roof, a waterproof frunk, and a pretty similar center console.
At $36,990 it’s $3,000 cheaper than the Model 3 SR+ I bought 7 years ago, while being improved in many ways!

@brandenflasch @IAmSuburban Multicore CPU? Yes. Single-core CPU? No. A18 Pro gets that. GPU? That goes to Air unless it uses a media engine in which case it goes to A18 Pro.

The MacBook Neo is basically the Walmart M1 MacBook Air. But new.
Their specs are a bit different: Neo has a better webcam, display, CPU/NPU. M1 Air had a better GPU, battery, a Force Touch trackpad.
Both had 8GB memory.
Both had 256GB storage.
Both were $599.
