Charts like $IREN are exactly why I don't understand the panic today.. It hit a $74-75 target, and pulled back into the 9EMA. Holding the 9EMA on pullbacks is still VERY strong.. Until there is bigger market-wide breakdowns, I just don't see the need to panic.

$IREN There are people suddenly claiming they “called” IREN pullback and using today’s action to validate it. What they fail to mention is that they were calling for a pullback back at $30–$40. The stock is down roughly 9% from its recent high, and it looks like it’ll finish today down around 10%. Even then, it’s still trading above $50. Stocks don’t run in straight lines. Long-term investors understand that moves like this are part of the game, especially after the kind of run IREN has had. Even after this drop, the stock has still outperformed nearly every name those same voices have recommended this year. Today’s selloff wasn’t about IREN fundamentals. It was a macro-driven, risk-off move tied to rising geopolitical tensions with China. The entire market was under pressure. High-beta names felt it more, and IREN was no exception. The investment thesis hasn’t changed. The company has no operational or commercial exposure to China. AI infrastructure demand remains structurally strong. Power remains scarce and strategic. Their ability to deliver scalable compute hasn’t weakened because of a few bad days. Short-term volatility doesn’t rewrite the long-term narrative. People can try to rewrite history to make their calls look better in hindsight, but smart money is using this pullback to accumulate.
