I understand I’m in the minority here but like, there isn’t a consideration for me to bring a metal card or “ev hunt” at a major. I just want to win so I’ll play a deck that I think can win. If it happens to win a metal card or is possible to win a metal card, that’s just a bonus. Riot isn’t “forcing” pros to decide between ev hunting or trying to win. Playing in the main event of any card game major has always been bad ev when comparing it to doing things like playing side events, or just working for a weekend. Like idk why people are acting like they compete in card games for EV. I thought top players compete in card games because of their competitive drive to be the best and win.

Riftbound OP has reached the true meta of people complaining that it's TOO DIVERSE. IMO this is the best. Metal card meta is THE BEST thing about competitive Riftbound.

@Challengertcg It's actually funny you're pointing this specific fact out. Because Riftbound has many problems. Dozens, to be exact. But "good pricing for playing an offmeta deck on purpose and doing well with it" certainly is not one of them 😅😅 I'm doing a video on this in the next weeks...

Riftbound has a problem. The best players are "forced" to play bad decks to be +EV. There is such a wide gap between Legends/Domains that you're not even playing the same game-leaving your fate up to matchup roulette with close to 0% chance of winning the event. #Riftbound
