The IMDB goes really hard, if you've ever seen these movies, my Dad touched your life in some way. Not shown: the dozens of movies and concerts he worked on with SGPS as a designer/engineer, they never got the proper credit for those but they made those movies possible. Ask around in the biz if you know anyone there, SGPS is legendary as is Mike Krevitt. He was humble, but iconic. imdb.com/name/nm0471093/

My father leaves behind a massive legacy in the Film and live music industry. Born in the south side of Chicago, he worked his way up starting in local theatre production wrangling cables and eventually making the leap to film. After doing entry level work on set for years, he eventually became a Key Grip, where he would thrive for the next 20 years workin on dozens of major motion pictures and inventing filmmaking techniques that would go on to become industry standards. Though he never patented his inventions, It can't be understated - he massively changed the way movies are made. The man is a legend to so many behind the scenes, he would never brag about that, but I will now because his legacy is important and he deserves all the credit he never gave himself. Eventually he left the Key Grip role to run SGPS/Showrig, where he would go on to design and oversee massive structures used behind the scenes for movies and live music. These are the things you don't see in movies, but its what holds everything together. Track to hang lights, greenscreens, cameras, structures to make people fly and create false skies. Structures to hold up massive LED Volumes for shows like the Mandolorian. He made giant, towering structures for every use imaginable. When the right pieces didn't exist to execute on his vision, he would invent them on the spot. This was part of his mastery, he knew how to Make It Work in any situation, in all his years of facing outlandish requests from directors and cinematographers, he never met a challenge that he wasn't able to meet, somehow, someway. In music, he made Travis Barker's drum kit fly, he made a rotating stage for Kiss and Aerosmith to tour together, he made giant LED covered cubes for Animal Collective, he put Travis Scott in the air on some kinda rollercoaster thing. He made most of your favorite musicians do incredible things on stage with methods that didn't exist until him and his motley crew invented them. It was crazy...but he was still just Dad. It's funny, none of you really knew my dad, but he was a bigger part of your life than anyone really realizes. He's touched so many pieces of Film, Television, and Music that I guarantee you have experienced some of the magic he made one way or another. Growing up with Mike as my dad was unique, I spent a lot of time as a young kid on film sets, getting to climb around the Ape Village from Planet of the Apes, watching Toby McGuire stop a runaway train in Spiderman, feeling naughty walking around the 70's Shag Pad from Austin Powers. Playing hide and seek with my sister in the town they built for Memoirs of a Geisha. To so many people in the film industry he was a big boss, a behemoth of a man with a reputation that proceeded him, but to me he was just my Dad. Unfortunately, working in Film also meant spending a massive amount of time at work, sometimes gone for months, or home burried in the computer from 5am to midnight. No denying that he was a workaholic. His physical and mental health suffered because of it, his family suffered because of it. He gave us an amazing life, but that came with a cost you can't put a dollar value on. In many ways he gave my sister and I everything we wanted in life, except for his presence, which is the one thing we really wanted. There's a lesson in there for parents out there. All in all he was a good man, kind, supportive, accepting. He instilled in me values of hard work, determination, creativity, and boldness. I love him deeply and I'm grateful to the universe for every second we were able to spend together. He is survived by his wife, myself, my sister, her newborn son, and his two sisters. Michael Krevitt, may your memory be a blessing. You made the world a more interesting place.

@Fedex is running a scam by not picking up your packages so you will have to pay double to get it there on time. Try getting through to someone and you might as well walk across the country and deliver the package yourself. @fedex you no concern for your customers.

@FedEx WORST service ever! I place my shipments online every week and yet they never get picked up. Have to then run to a FedEx office and get charged at least double due to your mistakes. Fedex does not care about customers. Also can NEVER get through on the phone to anyone.
