Carney Liberals are increasing taxes on beer, wine, and spirits without a parliamentary vote on April 1. That means higher prices for workers and more costs for our local brewers, wineries, and distillers. Sign to join Conservatives and scrap this automatic tax hike: conservative.ca/cpc/kill-the-h…

@FoodProfessor I'd rather support the little mom and pop shops , what is left of them , before going to those inflammation factories. Except A&W which is my guilty pleasure. And honestly the fast food isn't as good as it used to be. Maybe I'm just jaded but it just seems the quality went down.

REPORT: Anita Anand bragged Canada just signed a “domestic security” deal with India. Three weeks later, Indian gangsters — operating directly out of India — rolled into a Vaughan, Ontario neighbourhood and lit it up with pump-action shotguns and illegal handguns.

The remains of a female "vampire," pinned to the ground with a sickle across her throat to prevent her from returning from the dead, were found during archaeological work at a 17th-century cemetery in the village of Pien, Poland. Archaeologists found the woman laid on her back with an iron sickle placed across her neck, positioned so that any attempt to rise would cause injury or decapitation. A padlock was also attached to one of her toes, a practice believed to symbolically “lock” the body in the grave. Such burials are associated with what historians call “anti-vampiric” or apotropaic practices, used on individuals suspected of being outsiders, social outcasts, or those believed capable of returning after death. These could include people who died suddenly, exhibited unusual physical traits, or were linked to disease outbreaks. The sickle itself was not random, iron objects were commonly used in European folklore as a protective material against evil forces. Nearby burials in the same region have included individuals interred with coins placed under the tongue or heads removed and repositioned, suggesting a broader pattern of preventive rituals rather than isolated cases. #drthehistories
