This sophisticated intelligence was almost lost through colonialism imported concrete and rigid ideas of progress, dismissing hausa architecture as primitive and devaluing indigenous crafts.

At this point, it’s obvious: there is no real etiquette in war, no regard for human life, no concern for the suffering of the common person. Once a side is labeled the enemy, anything done to them is excused, and supporters will cheer regardless of justice.

@Ony1nyechi Syncretism is an issue though, I’m not sure if Islamic societies have that issue. The question most have is what aspects of their culture to retain and what to discard. Mythology, Cultural festivals dedicated to idols, rituals and practices lol

What those Imams are preaching is exactly what has been happening for centuries.

The most potent antidote to insecurity in Nigeria today still remains good governance at the sub-National level.
