@JackLinFLL @ptbkk Given the amount of speeding and rolling stops I see daily; drivers also rarely get ticketed. No one wants that level of enforcement on petty infractions, you just don't like cyclists so you want them enforced unequally.

@JackLinFLL @ptbkk Traffic laws are already enforced on cyclists, drivers make far more petty infractions than cyclists. Speeding and rolling stops are common practice amongst drivers.

@BenEllick @ptbkk Bicycles do routinely break traffic laws though. Perhaps improvements to roads could be made with traffic citations on reckless bicycle operators?

@JackLinFLL @ptbkk More pointless bureaucracy that would cost more than it saves. Those systems are not punishments for drivers, they are in place because of the damage a car can do. Bicycles do not weigh multiple tons or regularly go over 30mph.

@JackLinFLL @ptbkk The bureaucracy needed to enforce a tax proportional to maintenance impact by bikes on roads would cost more than the tax would bring it. Bike are not strictly reactional, they are just as valid a method of everyday transport as cars.

@ptbkk Bicycles do not belong on the roads financed by fuel taxes. We build enormous greenways and parks for recreational activities.

@AdamBronkhorst It is but i think cyclist should only be on cycling paths. They should also pay road tax to pay for cycle lanes. Roads should not be closed for cyclists use only.
