@stephenjones9 It needs someone that really understands the soul of Welsh rugby RKC was more focused in ‘business’ models and ruthlessness which doesn’t really work when it comes to rugby in Wales which can be sensitive Onwards and upwards 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏉

To the uninitiated, Flempton might look like an ordinary nine hole course in Suffolk, perhaps in the shadow of the Sacred Nine just down the road. But to those who appreciate the bold Victorian architecture, a cloverleaf routing that once kept on call doctors within easy reach of the clubhouse, and a surprising amount of variety for such a layout, it's a wonderful pilgrimage to a club that is unapologetically themsleves and almost completely unique - a rare feat in a golfing landscape where that is seldom achieved.

@BeauDesertGolf Definitely after it’s a massive improvement maybe in future club could relocate road further away from rear of green and update clubhouse which is looking tired IMO

Our 18th, before and after some significant tree removal and bunker work. Which do you prefer?

totally agree with my school chum @SBarnesRugby - Seb Atkinson of Glaws, who has power and yet also rare skills, can bale out England midfield with Ollie Lawrence or Max Ojomoh outside. ireland’s Stuart McCloskey has put power at 12 back in Test rugby

@GlennRo57727963 @JackoRugby This is also evident with coaches in the NFL it’s buying out the covenant which can cost extra but it would be worth it

@BenStephensArch @JackoRugby Scott Robinson has a covenant in his contract that he can't coach an international team for an extended period that covered his NZ contract.

Cannot remember ever seeing onecteam concede ten penalties in the first 20 minutes. Welsh self-destruction.

@stephenjones9 this is the worst Welsh performance I have seen since France 98 at Wembley - The WRU board needs to go especially Reddin - Tandy is not a no 1 coach at this level and Scott Robertson is available I would break the bank to get him at all costs

Now THIS is Great British Railways & proper Unionism. I LOVE the ambition by @CW_Architect, a raised high-speed railway, The Loop would connect Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, with Edinburgh & Glasgow in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Bangor in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, Dublin in 🇮🇪, Belfast in Northern Ireland…

@stephenjones9 My late father played cricket for Malpas vs Monmouth and guess who got a 100 for Monmouth - sounds like one hell of a sportsman!

Sometimes, rugby writing can touch the heart and soul. Charlie evokes here memories of his late Dad and of one of greatest all-round sportsmen and my childhood hero. Wonderful
Telegraph Rugby@TelegraphRugby

✍️ 'The first thing I would have told Dad about was how I left. Jarrett opened the door and wished me luck for my career. “You too,” I answered, clumsily. That would have cracked Dad’s half-smile into a chuckle' Read about @CharlieFelix's meeting below ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/20…

And the converse today at Newport. Aaron Wainwright expected to leave for Leicester next season. He will be a sensation. . Had monumental match yesterday …no blame to him. Disastrous WRU bunglers lose another.

@stephenjones9 Great to see Dragons improving and they can get stronger - the Derby games over Christmas and New Year proves that it should stay as 4 teams

Dragons put on a great show on and off the field yesterday. Big and raucous crowd, corporate restaurants packed. Scarlets well beaten. Massive lessons for the shocking WRU

Confession time: I thought I’d hate Carnoustie. It’s one of those places I felt like I had to play, given its history, but I expected it to be difficult, bland and ugly. Still, I dutifully trudged off to play it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s actually brilliant, bold, playable and quite beautiful in its own rugged way. I absolutely loved it, and it’s been rattling around in my head ever since my visit.
