Bank of England fail to control inflation through interest rises (never going to work in post COVID, highly leveraged world) so looks for something else to blame - wages.

@dankguyjeff @janeematthews What about those in relationships that broke down, that had to relocate for work, that are now unable to work due to illhealth, or those whose family grew to large for one bedroom flats? Should they be forced to accept losses on property they would love to sell but can't?

@dankguyjeff @janeematthews Ok, I made the mistake of engaging with someone and making the assumption that they knew even a little bit about the topic they were talking about. I apologise. Feel free to read up on what an accidental landlord is, they make up up to a third of all landlords.

Last time I ever bother ordering @McDonaldsUK through @Deliveroo. No drink delivered, pale floppy undercooked fries, wrong sauce included and all so cold it might as well have been cooked yesterday. Not sure why I expected better.

@dankguyjeff @janeematthews What about accidental landlords that would love to sell, never bought as an investment, but circumstances prevent them from being able to do so?

I'd love to be able to sell, would even do so at a discount to a deserving first time buyer but due to the endless building safety crisis it remain pretty much impossible for anyone to get a mortgage and therefore impossible for me to the one flat I rent out.

There’s no such thing as an average Council Tax. The only way to compare is band to band. On that basis Conservative Councils charge less.
If you want to know what Labour councils are like, just ask residents of Croydon, Slough, Nottingham, Liverpool…
