@bob711947599965 @Tablesalt13 We don’t use a lot of gas in our overall energy mix. Oil companies closed all but 2 refineries here because we have high wages and low demand (relative to more populated countries), so we all need to go electric.

Nor does it significantly reduce staffing and maintenance. It does not reduce the need to maintain a sufficient supply of coal is available when required from a mine.

You can’t afford a coal mine. You can’t afford a gas turbine. You can’t afford an oil rig. Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can. But you can afford a solar power station on your roof. Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.

For those of you that don’t know, poor Alex Belfield has been recalled back to prison. He’s now been back in HMP Nottingham for 5 weeks and is awaiting a parole hearing. His crime? There was no crime. He had been recalled for words he MIGHT say and is a 0.16% risk to the public. I have spoken with Alex weekly and he is in good spirits. He has written book no 7 and has made a start on book 8 🤣🤣 He has more rights and less restrictions in prison than he had outside on probation!! Make it make sense!!!
