Last night was the most disturbing night in sports betting for me maybe ever. Stephon Castle had a total of 3 rebounds removed from his stats throughout the game. The last rebound was removed 45 minutes AFTER the game ended. They called it a control tip from Champagnie. I watched the video. It was 100% NOT a controlled tip. Fanduel settled my +11,000 parlay and then took away a grand from my account when the correction happened. This is a HUGE problem in the sports betting world right now. The book and heavily integrated with the league and I believe decisions are being made based off conditions not facts. The extra rebound for Champagnie virtually doesn’t impact the books. BUT the 8th rebound for Castle would have costed them a bunch. @nbastats @NBA needs to be investigated or have some sort of accountability when the do this. A public explanation, something. Horrible look

Make the games 40 minutes. 8 x 82 / 48 =13.667 That’s the equivalent number of games you would reduce the schedule by. Without breaking arena leases. Works for college. Works for international. Works for the WNBA. AND. If you looking at tv and streaming ratings, the less the actual playing time for a televised game, the bigger the ratings. Ie, the less time fans have to focus on a game, the more they enjoy watching it on tv
