Florida lawmakers have voted in favor of a new bill which would mean a complete ban on gender affirming procedures performed on teens. The new bill also seeks to revoke the license of doctors who continue to prescribe hormones, puberty blockers and perform gender reassignment surgery to anyone under 18. Doctors violating the ban could face up to 5 years in prison. Gov. De Santis is expected to sign the bill and codify it into law. He is also expected to sign additional bills prohibiting children from attending drag shows by classifying them as adult entertainment. Additionally he is expected to sign a bill which would make it a misdemeanor for a biological man to use a female only space. Source: NY Times
