Today, I signed an executive order to ensure survivor benefits belonging to children in foster care are protected for the child — not used by the government to reimburse the cost of care. I also signed a joint proclamation with the Trump Administration affirming our shared commitment to building a system where every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, stable, and loving home through the “A Home for Every Child” initiative. These actions will help ensure young Hoosiers have the support they need as they prepare for adulthood.
