@BirdmannFrankee I mean that's how it will play out I'm sure. But from the NRL's point of view, there's already been a massive lapse in duty of care with Eliesa. If something else happens the court dramas could be compounded massively.

Honestly, given what we're seeing with retired footballers and CTE, I feel like if it's this hard to get a green light to play then they should let this go. I would hate to see anything more happen to Eli.

@antonposa That's true, players want to play, but if he gets the green light from multiple specialists and no one is forcing or pressuring E.Katoa to play (I couldn't imagine that's the case), and if he wants to play, then who are we to stop him? It's his life and choice in the end.

Jake Averillo has agreed to a four-year deal worth around $2.75 million with the Wests Tigers from 2027. The Dolphins utility attracted interest from several Sydney clubs, including the Sharks, Sea Eagles and Dragons, but has chosen the Tigers. Averillo will slot into the right centre spot next year and can also cover fullback and 6. IMO with the salary cap going up this a fair deal on both sides.
