If you display certainty in your statement, it’s accepted.
If you are unsure, there’s danger to accepting it and it will push people away.
Certainty only comes from a track record of success - that happens to be how you build confidence too.

I have received an outpouring of support and kind messages from many Orthodox Christians after making this post and I just wanted to acknowledge them and say thank you for that.
I know that there are many wonderful Orthodox Christians and the priests have been especially supportive.
Sometimes the meanest comments make the most noise but I know it’s not everybody.

Don’t worry Orthodox Christians. After my experience over the last several days over a modest image I posted with pure intent after a wonderful visit to a Greek Orthodox Liturgy, I will be in no rush to convert. The vitriol I experienced is not Christlike and I have a lot to seek the Lord on. God bless.

As a man, if you are expressing interest in me and not immediately making an intentional move ( a date, flowers, etc) I assume your maturity is stunted and you’re not serious to me. Men make things happen. Women take those things and nurture them in order to multiply them.
