Part of the problem with the faction bias is that they can never decide what the opposing force to the Light is In BC and Legion it was demons, in Wrath and Shadowlands it was death, and now it's the void It makes it feel like the Light/paladins are the "default" heroes

@RealEmirHan The water is barely knee deep. There's no way a wave that big could build without exposing massive amounts of land.

Interstellar hides a chilling detail in plain sight: Brand explains that Miller likely died only minutes before Cooper arrived because of the extreme time dilation. Which means the massive wave is the very one that killed her.

@BlackFlamingo93 @TSoS_ It needs to move forward. Prequels aren’t as interesting because the stakes ultimately don’t matter.

I honestly think it's time for Star Wars to move 500 or 1000 years past the Skywalker Saga and create a new sandbox where stories untethered from the main Saga can thrive. An entirely new aesthetic, a new Golden Age of the Republic and Jedi, with new threats that aren't just the Empire again. I'm not the biggest fan of Star Wars Legacy, but I always loved the idea of the Imperial Knights and how the entire comic series managed to really set itself apart from all other Star Wars stories aesthetically and through its world-building.

@x222x2x2 @TSoS_ Came here to say this. Ninth Jedi should be canon, it’s a good twist on Jedi/Sith lore while being far enough in the future (and the vague timeline is a bonus) that it doesn’t have to effect anything in the existing lore.

@TSoS_ I think the ninth jedi is doing that, though it's visions @[ not considered canon, unless they decide to say some of the shorts are canon (they should)

@ZyifaRen @TSoS_ It has panels like an Interceptor but longer and pointier, a flattened cockpit instead of round, extended rear section like Vader’s TIE. Main difference is the color and more polygonal windshield.

@NicholasJLevi @TSoS_ How are we counting Disney originals? This is just a TIE variation barely different from the TIE Avenger.

@FantasyGalaxies Everyone in 1999 thought the saber duel was cool, not sure what alternate history you’re remembering. It’s the rest of the movie people didn’t like.

I genuinely don't understand how the previous generation watched this in 1999 and 2005 and call it bad....

@santigonver @ShitpostRock2 Is the ghost not one of the various Corellian transport variants from X-Wing Alliance? Even if not the Otana mogs it.

Crazy how after 13 years of Disney Star Wars, they still haven't produced a SINGLE iconic ship design

@ShitpostRock2 All they can do is rehashes and knockoffs to rival the chinese. The only remotely memorable ship they came up with was the one from Dadalorian, but they blew it up and replaced it with a Naboo starfighter because they're just that dependent on bastardized nostalgia-bait.

@pilk_dr @ShitpostRock2 Very telling that most Disney era ships just look like weird boxes and most of the cool looking ones are modified EU designs.

@The_Clermontian They could have made an Andor ship iconic if he stuck with one, but since they switch around a lot there isn’t one ‘Andor’s TIE Avenger’ or ‘Cassian’s U-wing’
