@discord_support How about you reinstate all of the accounts belonging to the victims of invalid AI bans, ditch AI moderation entirely, restructure the whole Trust & Safety team, and maybe apologise and give compensation money to the users, who got unfairly banned by your AI slop moderation?

There’s currently a vulnerability in Discord’s AI moderation that detects any and all square grid images, such as spreadsheets, chessboards, Minecraft inventories, white & gray transparent backgrounds… as CSAM and will permanently ban your account. To keep your account safe, I would recommend NOT sending any sort of images anywhere until this vulnerability is fixed. If you are a server owner or admin, I would highly recommend to disable all image and gif/embed perms in your server for the time being. To @discord @discord_support, this vulnerability needs to be fixed immediately with all false bans overturned. Additionally, AI moderation needs to be scrapped and replaced with humans. This is exactly why companies shouldn’t be using clankers to decide whether accounts should be banned or not. Losing a Discord account to something as unfair as this can be extremely devastating and affect users severely, and every day millions of users are affected by false AI bans. This needs to be stopped. If you would like to spread awareness about this, feel free to like & repost.

@svishnevskiy @discord_support It’s too little too late, considering the others having to deal with getting falsely banned for spam, the T&S team doing a horrible job reviewing violations where they withhold decisions without context and not doing anything to fix your AI moderation.

I want to apologize for a bug we fixed that over the weekend wrongly banned ~200 users over grid-like images, and ~8,000 more since May over other benign images. Everyone affected has now been unbanned. Learn more about how happened from this @discord_support thread.

BREAKING: Discord dev addresses the grid image bans. It's fixed now.
Now why the @discord and @discord_support accounts have remained totally silent while this error reaches near-hysteria levels, I have no idea. But they should probably QRT his reply to help get the word out lol
