My grandma was a ballet teacher. Every Wednesday I went to her house and waited upstairs when my sisters joined her ballet classes in the basement that was a ballet studio. The walls of her house were covered with Degas paintings. Even back then people were telling my grandma no one cares about ballet. She ignored such stupidity and continued to take us to the Nutcracker every year perhaps in gratitude for all the help we gave her in putting on her dance recitals.

The Sanctuary of St Joseph in Old Town Krakow was packed today on St Joseph’s feast day. This is the way to the sanctuary. It’s kind of hidden in Old Town.

Dune cast in 1984 was so much more epic. The original version had Kyle MacLachlan, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sean Young, Virginia Madsen, Sting and many more. And that version was more accurate to the book version of the story.

I just reread St Stephen’s retelling of salvation history before his martyrdom in Acts of the Apostles. Man, it is so good. And full of so many interesting things that I don’t think are explicitly in the Old Testament.
