@Daniele_Media Not rooting for him to fail. The problem with the Mets is much bigger than Bo. It would not surprise me he is having second thoughts on signing with them.

Genuinely curious: if you're a #BlueJays fan, are you actively rooting for Bo Bichette to fail with the #Mets? Saw this clip circulating of Bo from yesterday, and it seemed like folks were taking a victory lap on his departure. Not sure I can conjure up any ill-will for Bo.

@mnmfan76 Reminds me of what Pat Quinn did to Bobby Orr in the 1969 playoffs. Orr skated out of his own end with his head down, Quinn nailed him with a hit, laid Orr out. Regardless if it is regular season or postseason, always keep your head up.

@MiStormChasers Have a hunch the area for Marginal Risk will expand further into Southern Lower Michigan…whether it gets close enough to locations like Jackson, Ann Arbor, perhaps the Detroit metro area, is another thing.

Michigan Storm Chasers@MiStormChasers·
Monday, April 27th, 2026 is shaping up to be a fairly significant day, but not as much in Michigan vs our surrounding Midwest states. This morning, we wanted to release our first call severe weather outlook for the day on Monday, but with more of a regional look to it. Given Monday has had an enhanced risk (SPC level 3 of 5) since the outlooks released back on Thursday, confidence is fairly high as it stands in what could be a regional outbreak. This means a heightened chance for tornadoes, wind, and large hail across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, along with nearby Iowa, Missouri, and Arkansas. For Michigan, we will most-likely get the "scraps", so-to-speak, which we know has many of you breathing a sigh of relief. Timing for Monday night in Michigan appears to be after 9 pm EDT, and will be a damaging wind threat primarily for those select few southwestern counties. If you have plans out of state on Monday, especially earlier in the day across the yellow MSC level 3 and orange MSC level 4 zones, you should make plans to know where your nearest shelter option will be out of state. Slight refinements of the current zones are likely over the next two days. Beginning tomorrow, we will have the probabilities of each hazard attached to our severe weather outlook. Stay tuned, and make sure to follow for more forecasts here at Michigan Storm Chasers. -- Trusted Partner of the Day -- Battle Creek IT | We provide comprehensive IT solutions tailored to your business needs. @ArashMadani It should have been done this past offseason. Jays brass should have accepted reality, accepted the fact that Jeff Hoffman, as a closer, is a liability. They should have acquired a reliable closer by trade or free agency. Failing to do it may bite them in the ass this season.

@BobPagesports That was Bruce Norris’ greedy and stupid mindset in those years…maybe if he did more to better the hockey operation, put a better and more competitive product on the ice, draw bigger crowds as a result, there would be no need for this BS.

@Bowler1961 I'm older than you (& damn near everyone else here!). I grew up watching HNIC on CKLW-TV from across the river in Windsor. There were never any blackouts - EXCEPT for the 1st half hour of each game! They actually feared putting the whole game on TV would kill the live gate.

Don't know exactly where you grew up, but the BIG thing in Grosse Pointe was if dad turned the antenna the right way you could get a snowy, but watchable, pic from Lansing's WJIM (my future employer!). They were JUST outside the blackout area so you could see Lions home games!
Tony Annyschyn@Bowler1961

@BobPagesports Anyone who had a rotor antenna mounted high enough was the envy of the neighborhood. Not only can you get 2,4,7,9,20,50,56 and 62…you could pick up the Toledo stations and maybe Channel 10, the CBC station in London, Ontario.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon over Southeast Michigan. Wind gusts of 50-60 mph and localized heavy downpours are likely with the strongest storms. Main time window: 2-8 PM. #MIwx

@baseballinpix Lowering the mound for the ‘69 season didn’t adversely affect Gibson’s numbers. Same could be said for Denny McLain. After a 31-6 mark in ‘68, Denny went 24-9 with a 2.80 ERA in 1969. ⚾️
