@OneNationAus Rubbish. Let's get on with the energy transition. Renewable are the cheapest option & will delivery genuine energy security. One Nation has no plans to deliver on any of the alternatives which are very costly, very slow to build and polluting. It would be a fiasco.

Australia’s renewables experiment is falling apart. It’s set to cost over a trillion dollars, it’s not delivering the reliable energy we need to grow the economy, and families are paying the price through higher power bills. On top of that, it’s chewing up valuable farming land and won’t make a difference to global temperatures at all. These industrial-scale projects have become a taxpayer-funded racket. A One Nation government would be quick to pull the plug on funding. Enough is enough. And at the ballot box, voters should send a clear message to any candidate backing these outrageous, failed projects. To those trolling me about “no impediment” to oil extraction 👇👇. Albo’s no greenie. His government has approved over 30 new coal/gas projects since 2022. There is no impediment (ban) on domestic oil extraction. But better bet for us is decarbonisation = energy independence.

The last major oil project proposed in Australia didn't proceed for commercial reasons It had the environmental approvals from NOPSEMA Plus the support of the Federal LNP and State ALP Governments The suggestion we don't have oil projects because of renewables is simply untrue
