@OneNationAus Rubbish. Let's get on with the energy transition.
Renewable are the cheapest option & will delivery genuine energy security.
One Nation has no plans to deliver on any of the alternatives which are very costly, very slow to build and polluting.
It would be a fiasco.
English

Australia’s renewables experiment is falling apart.
It’s set to cost over a trillion dollars, it’s not delivering the reliable energy we need to grow the economy, and families are paying the price through higher power bills. On top of that, it’s chewing up valuable farming land and won’t make a difference to global temperatures at all.
These industrial-scale projects have become a taxpayer-funded racket. A One Nation government would be quick to pull the plug on funding.
Enough is enough. And at the ballot box, voters should send a clear message to any candidate backing these outrageous, failed projects.

@blowingtom2 @WhoKnew53531000 @AustralianLabor A ridiculous suggestion. You are living in a fantasy land.

@WhoKnew53531000 @AustralianLabor A vote of no confidence will never pass. Albo has a majority with 94 seats. Do you people have zero fucking idea how our parliament works. Educate yourself before posting.

How much fucking longer before a
Vote of No Confidence can commence?

@SkyNewsAust Contrary to the toxic narrative of the Murdochracy, Labor is handling the crisis well.

Showing proper leadership in a crisis is beyond Labor seven years after its former leader tore into the Coalition for doing nothing to secure domestic fuel supplies, writes Dr. Alexey Muraviev.

@VelonCC It's hard to beat 2021 for drama. That really was Hell! And not just the men's race. The women's race was equally epic!

@S_GerardRennick “We know from the experts that even if an oilfield like this was approved, you’re probably talking up to 10 years before it would start producing oil at any kind of commercial level”
So how is this remotely a “solution” to our problems because of a stupid war in the Middle East?

“Renewables are the only truly sovereign energy solution to oil instability. The transition, in other words, must go on even as the government seeks to stabilise oil supply.”

In the middle of a global fuel crisis I’ve got 93% battery and 415 km of driving in the tank - powered by rooftop solar.
No petrol station. No oil shock. No drama.
This is what real energy security looks like.

@BoxBender @BobBurn97207272 We’re halfway through our renewables transition. Only the very stupid would suggest we do something different. Your comment is the smartest on this thread. 👍
English

This individual's renewable energy policies have raised concerns regarding Australia's ability to meet its energy needs. Given the current international landscape highlighting potential vulnerabilities, reconsidering the energy strategy may be warranted. Investing in oil exploration, constructing oil refineries, and building coal-fired power stations with a long-term view to nuclear power is what we need.
A balanced approach to energy production would better serve Australia's interests, prioritising energy security.

English

@Hudson11630916 @BobBurn97207272 Actually it does give Labor a mandate.
And for reference Labor received 55% of the final vote.
Inform yourself about Australia's voting system. It's an important pillar of democracy.
English

@BoxBender @BobBurn97207272 31% doesn't give a mandate 69% of the country voted against it..
