@zoomafrika1 IGBO❤️ ANIOMA BREED Check the comments See Yariibas who (including males) were conquered by women from Dahomey, and also past leader of Nigeria quoted “if these yariibas” beat the drum of war, will just slumber” Define cowards elaborately!😂

Igbos in the quote mocking us are funny lol. If a whole group of people have persistently rejected being called Igbo for decades, just let them be. This incessant dragging and shaming because Anioma/Ndokwa folks decline the Igbo label only worsens the relationship that already exists. From celebrities to scholars to everyday people, we've made their choice crystal clear: “We are Ukwuani/Anioma, not Igbo.” We must learn to respect our choice. Forcing it is like forcing an Indian to call himself Pakistani simply because they share some language family and cultural similarities. Language family ≠ ethnicity. Self-identification is what matters. We have chosen not to be igbos, respect our decision.

In 1803, 75 Igbos from Nigeria 🇳🇬 chose to drown in the Ocean over being sold into slavery. According to history, The Igbo slaves were said to be a rebellious breed. They preferred to die free, than to be bond in chains . ⛓️😱

I will ask you again this morning. Were you conquered by the igbos?? You used people bearing “Ahmed” for example. They were conquered by way of conquest and religion. JERIQ, did the igbos conquer anioma or IKA ??

Do you remember what happened when you made this tweet? Let me remind you, blogs carried it and reported it as Jeriq the artist made this post. This is what identity can actually do to you. Your posts are causing harm to someone else due to your name. Whenever you use this handle to make certain posts, not everyone will be discerning enough to know the difference. Because you are not s popular figure, it will not really matter o concern you. That is how Igbo nation has been bearing the burden of those who wear their identity but do not act within the consciousness of the identity. Take note.

The harm isn’t coming from us rejecting the label. The harm comes from you refusing to respect our self-identification. If we are not Igbo (as we have clearly said), then our posts, our actions, and our names are not your burden to carry. That’s exactly how identity works: people who reject the label don’t owe the group the “consciousness” of an identity they never accepted. We are Anioma, we are Ndokwa, we are Ika, we dont speak Igbo we speak our respective language, I speak Ukwuani. Own your own actions as Igbo and stop dragging us into your victimhood narrative every time. We have chosen our identity. Respect it. The “burden” ends the day you stop forcing the label.

If Anioma State is being zoned to the South East, it will be recognized as a Niger Delta state and it will be benefiting from NDDC.
