@laurashin Hilarious that you think the American people care about crypto. People who care about crypto make up maybe 0.01% of the electorate.

Americans think 26% of US households make over $500,000 per year, whereas the number is actually 1%, per Tim Urban:

@ZacksJerryRig That said, raise taxes on the rich a few %. Great. Nothing changes because government spending is driving massive and unsustainable debt AND inflation. Kamala with her talk of price gouging by companies is gaslighting. It's literally the trump and Biden admis debt spending.

@ZacksJerryRig Take every dollar from the richest 10 people, and it pays the 1/4 of one year of the annual USA budget. Taxing the rich is a moral question, not a functionally useful one. Most of the rich have signed the giving pledge, would you rather the govt waste it inefficiently instead?

@SayinMinds @WSJPR @WSJ Find the guy who owns Tesla stock. Ive owned a Tesla FSD for 5 years, and now own a Ford blue cruise truck. After thousands of hours: I'd take blue cruise every day. FSD is embarrassingly bad, randomly tries to drive me off the road, phantom breaking...

This is clearly a hit piece by WSJ... WSJ intentionally confused Tesla's AutoPilot (AP) with Tesla's Full Self Driving (FSD) technology. Tesla AP is an Advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) technology, keeps your vehicle in it's lane, brakes to ensures you dont hit other cars etc etc, Tesla FSD (Full Self Driving) is an Autonomous driving technology, its a completely different technology to Tesla's AP, like an iPhone is different to a Desk Phone. Why the Tesla AP accidents? Firstly lets get this clear, every Auto OEM would give their right arm to own Tesla's AP, it's far more advanced and capable than all other ADAS solution on the market today. Secondly, the devil is in the detail, which WSJ ignores... the majority of those accidents were caused from another vehicles rear-ending the Tesla, not caused by Tesla but by the human driver of another vehicle. Tesla AP is so good a few Tesla owners have become overly confident with its capability, they trick its driver safety monitoring functions to manipulate AP into acting like a self-driving (Autonomous) technology and that's when the few other accidents have occurred. Tesla AP is not an Autonomous driving technology, but Tesla's FSD is Autonomous driving technology. What is Tesla FSD? Tesla FSD has only very recently been made available to Tesla owners, and it's currently only available to owners in Nth America. FSD is only able to be used with a person in driver's seat and while theyre paying attention (ie supervising), hence it's currently called Tesla FSD "Supervised" That being said, Tesla's FSD has driven many 100's of Millions of Miles on roads all across Nth America and the data unequivocally shows that.... Tesla's FSD is much safer than a human behind the wheel, in fact it's 5-10 times safer than a human driving. Soon people will demand Tesla FSD on all vehicles because any vehicle without it will be a danger on the road.

A new @WSJ investigation gathered video and data from over 200 Tesla Autopilot crashes, revealing that longstanding concerns about Tesla’s camera-based technology, which differs from the rest of the industry, are showing up on the roads and putting the public at risk. The data uncovered from redacted information for more than 1000 Tesla autopilot crashes submitted to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration since 2021, reveals 44 of the crashes occurred when Teslas in autopilot veered suddenly and 32 occurred when a Tesla in autopilot failed to stop or yield for an obstacle in front of it–with some resulting in fatalities. @jororofo @laurashin 14% of Americans own crypto, and I'd put money on the fact that 3-5% of Americans are single issue voters on crypto. Many in crypto cross party lines, and 3% is more than enough to get someone elected. coinweb.com/trends/how-man…

the saddest part about this DOT marketing controversy is key ecosystem agents who have driven the spending spree genuinely thinking they are doing the right thing. proof is in the fact that there is NO SENSE of second-guessing their position despite all the noise. worse yet, some are so brilliant as to think this bad PR is actually good PR since everyone is now hearing about DOT. but the thing is, unless we internalize the lessons (from whales to guppies), odds of not repeating the same mistakes are high af!

@samjurrens @jessefelder @Crescat_Capital @TaviCosta Largest company in the world sells chips for AI? Yeah, that's crazy. Look at the competition in the CPU space: Apple, AMD, Qualcomm, many others complete at parity because designs are transferrable and easily replicated. Nvidia isn't special, tsmc is. Tsmc does the hard work

And what if we’re not at the “2000” moment yet? I don’t see any of the insanity or “hype” that I feel AI deserves. It will be dramatically more transformational than anything in tech in history, and I can still talk to a lot of people that haven’t even heard of $NVDA. My personal opinion, things are about to get wild at which point we can finally look at it and say, “OK… this is crazy.” I just don’t feel that moment is in yet, but what do I know.

@DefiIgnas Look up Astar. Big deals with Sony and Microsoft lead to TVL on that chain, which leads to more tvl and price movement on dot. They are playing the slow and steady game. No question to me they will be the AWS of web3

@DefiIgnas @alpha_pls Look up Astar parachain. Big deals with Sony and Microsoft. Probably a chunk of that burn is going to compute or tx costs associated like AWS or GCP does. Dot has the best architecture (guy who made eth), but it's complicated, not easy to explain like some L1 like sol.
