If Newcastle United are asking £100m for Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimarães, and you’re seeing names like Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest), Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace), and Carlos Baleba (Brighton & Hove Albion) being pushed into that same price bracket… Then I’m not even thinking twice. I would gladly pay £100m for Aurélien Tchouaméni of Real Madrid. This is not even a debate for me. You’re talking about a complete midfielder — elite defensively, physically dominant, calm under pressure, reads the game like a veteran, and can actually progress the ball at a high level. This is a guy built for the biggest stages, already doing it at Real Madrid without noise. If there is even a 1% chance to get him, you go all in. No hesitation. No negotiations dragging. Pay the money. Get it done. For me, he’s levels above all of them. Different class. 💰

Guehi, Semenyo, Wharton, Baleba is the ideal 2026 transfer window for me. If Amorim is still manager then add another WB to that. Maguire, Casemiro and Bruno may leave + feel like we never replaced the pace/ running power of Garnacho/ Rashford which Semenyo would bring to replace all these players with. Cunha prefers ball to feat. Doubt we would get more than 2/4.
