President of India Droupadi Murmu received Lee Jae Myung, President of the Republic of Korea at Rashtrapati Bhavan. She also hosted a banquet in his honour. Welcoming President Myung on his first visit to India, the President appreciated him for his significant contributions to strengthening India-Korea bilateral relations, particularly as Chair of the Korea–India Parliamentary Friendship Group. TOPS: Grooming Athletes for the Olympic Podium The Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) has been operational since 2014. Its objective is to enhance India's medal-winning prospects at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Under this scheme, athletes with exceptional potential are identified and provided with customized, end-to-end support. TOPS offers a comprehensive range of assistance-including training, sports science, and support services along with a monthly out-of-pocket allowance of 50,000 for 'Core' athletes and 25,000 for Development' athletes.
