The Earth proceeds on far slower time scales—orbital trajectories, the thermal power of the oceans and the rising influence of biology. Nature isn't a series of sudden, jagged events; it's a vast, slow-moving force of interacting variables. This heavy machinery of nature has shaped the planet for millions of years. Orbital mechanics (Milankovitch cycles) do the heavy lifting over eons, while the massive thermal engine of the oceans—carrying heat energy around the globe—defies the simplistic narrative of a sudden human crisis. When we isolate a single trace gas from this complex world view, we aren't simplifying the puzzle—we're overlooking the most significant pieces of it. While a one-track agenda demands immediate, decisive action based on impending disaster, biology and physics tell a far more nuanced story. NASA satellite data confirms global greening—a biological embrace of resources that fits perfectly within the long view of planetary physics. Rather than a system on the brink of collapse, we see a world that is adapting. Global greening shows how life thrives in a multi-variable reality that no single headline can capture. This confirms the enduring reality of a greening world. Surely, it's time to shift the focus from human guilt to the miracle of planetary resilience.

Here's some inconvenient data. The plot below shows the average number of March days per USHCN station per year with daily maximum temperatures ≥95th percentile (computed using a five-day window over each day per station), which were then area-weighted for quality control. This year, there were ~14 such days, by far the most in the 127-year-long record. But there is no statistically significant long-term trend (p = 0.12 > 0.05) overall in extremely warm March days. Therefore, statistically, last month's “unprecedented” heatwave was almost entirely due to natural internal variability, not an artifact of “climate change” like the World Weather Attribution (WWA) pseudoscientists have claimed.

The Sierra Sun Tower in California was built to prove that heliostat farms could power the future. But it never lived up to the promise. The plant depended on perfect desert sunshine, anything less and output collapsed. In its first full year, it produced barely 12% of its projected generation. Operating costs were so high that it only ran on the brightest days. Every other day, it sat idle. Despite winning "project of the year" in 2010, by 2015 it was effectively abandoned. Another green flagship built, funded, celebrated and then quietly shut down when reality hit.

#YomHaShoah Heute ist Yom HaShoah, ein Holocaust-Gedenktag, an dem Juden aus aller Welt innehalten, um über das Leid ihrer Vorfahren nachzudenken. Viele dieser Juden sind direkte Nachkommen von Opfern und Überlebenden des Holocaust. Ungefähr 11 Millionen Menschen starben durch die Hand Hitlers und seiner Gefolgsleute, und von diesen 11 Millionen Menschen waren 6 Millionen allein Juden. Um diesen wichtigen Teil der Geschichte nicht in Vergessenheit geraten zu lassen, beschloss das israelische Parlament 1951, dass der Yom HaShoah jedes Jahr begangen werden soll. Yom HaShoah heißt auf Hebräisch "Yom HaShoah Ve-Hagevurah" und bedeutet "Tag des Gedenkens an den Holocaust und des Heldentums". „HaShoah" bedeutet auch "Wirbelsturm". Der Tag wurde am 12. April 1951 im israelischen Parlament offiziell anerkannt. Er fällt auf den 27. des Monats Nisan im jüdischen Kalender und liegt damit eine Woche nach dem Pessachfest. Der Gedenktag wurde eingeführt, weil die israelische Jugend kein Mitgefühl mit den Opfern des Holocausts hatte, die nach Ansicht der Jugendlichen wie Schafe geschlachtet wurden, ohne sich zu wehren. Als die Behörden von solchen Ansichten erfuhren, machten sie es sich zur Aufgabe, die Helden zu beleuchten, die gegen Hitler und seine Truppen gekämpft hatten. Geschichten über Tapferkeit und Entschlossenheit wurden nun in den Bildungseinrichtungen gelehrt. Seit 1951 zünden die Menschen zu diesem Anlass spezielle Wachskerzen an, die mit einem Davidstern versehen sind. Am Yom HaShoah, der in Israel als nationaler Feiertag anerkannt ist, besuchen die Juden auch die Synagogen, um aus den heiligen Büchern zu lesen und Geschichten auszutauschen und es ertönen um 10 Uhr morgens zwei Minuten lang Sirenen in den Straßen, und jeder muss für die Dauer der Sirenen anhalten, um der Gräueltaten des Holocaust zu gedenken. Alle Fahrzeuge, die auf den Straßen fahren, bleiben ebenfalls stehen. Jeder Aspekt des Lebens am Yom HaShoah ist auf die Anerkennung des jüdischen Heldentums und der Entschlossenheit während der schweren Zeit des Holocausts von 1933 bis 1945 ausgerichtet. Yom HaShoah ist auch ein Versprechen: Nie wieder werden sich Juden kampflos abschlachten lassen.
