When we plug abandoned wells, we’re eliminating pollution that affects our air and water, making our communities healthier. That’s why we’ve worked to plug more orphaned and abandoned wells in the past 2 years than Pennsylvania had in the previous 11 years combined. It may not sound exciting, but it’s a big deal — because here in Pennsylvania, we’re keeping our waterways clean, keeping our communities healthy, and getting stuff done in record time.

Today, I'm suing the Trump Administration alongside 22 other states to stop them from unlawfully defunding Planned Parenthood, which will rip away healthcare from thousands of Pennsylvanians. This unconstitutional decision threatens to close vital health care centers and deny Pennsylvanians essential, lifesaving care such as cancer screening and prevention, family planning services, and prenatal and postpartum care. As long as I’m your Governor, we will defend access to reproductive health care here in Pennsylvania.

As someone who lived in EKY for a long time & very invested in this place, I could not agree more. I was just reflecting about the 2022 flood relief work I did (primarily in Breathitt Co.). A 1,000 yr. flood that killed 43 people & we didn’t even get hopes & prayers from JD.
