@RokoMijic @sweatystartup @grok You need to use combination therapy to get LDL low enough below the point of plaque progression which is an LDL of 55-60ish. So a generic stain and ezetimibe together has the best risk-reward profile currently. Blood pressure is also the other part of the puzzle.

Has anyone tried to quantify this? I'm convinced this is true -- that drivers are more reckless and inconsiderate than pre-COVID -- but I'm mindful that this is the sort of thing that everyone thinks as they proceed through middle age

@FangYi11101 @salsasunchips The entire framework of "post the job in public and then use resumes to determine who gets in" is no longer viable. Some people send AI-generated resumes in to try to get hired, other people send them just for fun. I wasn't joking about the nerd servers.

@salsasunchips @CWDenizen i can understand HR's plight though, there are too many candidates and a GPA filter is a defensible way to make a crude first cut. But some schools figured this out and started inflating grades -- if you're not at a grade-inflating school then tough luck

No idea who wrote this, but in all these cases the treasure is easily explained as being in the lair/nest/whatever, such as on the cocooned bodies of a giant spider's victims. As OSE puts it: "Unintelligent monsters: The treasure is loot from the bodies of the monsters’ victims."

Ok I can explain this to you, because unlike this bunch of losers I’ve worked in marketing.
What we market to you is this:
An identity you want > A product > A sale
Doesn’t matter if it’s a teapot or a banking app. That’s what you do with an ad. Does it make you feel smart? Prestigious? In on the joke? Cool? Safe?
That’s how advertisers think. If I say “This hat is cool, and good!” that’s a 2/10 ad. If I say “This hat is the hat you wear on holiday this year when the warm Italian sun floods the vineyards” that’s already put the hat on your head and a luxury holiday.
Now, most people do not like racism. I know that’ll shock you because of Elon’s whack algorithm, but most people identify as “not a racist”. Easiest way to say to someone, look how open minded we are, and you are just like us? Diversity in an ad.
It’s just sales.

Huh! Apparently if you recode all the cases where a woman withdrew her accusation as false *as false* (they're generally not counted that way for some reason), the false rape accusation rate rises to 20-40%.
