Let me put it this way: all of Trump's flaws were on display last night but we all already KNOW those flaws. He did nothing to further disqualify himself. All Biden had to do was look sharp and answer coherently and he would have won. He couldn't do that.

For everybody mad at me because I'm telling the truth, here's my final opinion on the matter and then I hope to shut up about it. Right now Biden's the standard bearer and, if he's the nominee, I will do everything in my power to get him elected, but it will be MUCH harder to make a pro-Biden case instead of simply a not-Trump case. If I sound defeatist, it's because I feel momentarily defeated. Not because I've given up, or because I think the Dems can't beat Trump. As everybody has correctly pointed out, it's only June. But consider how much ammunition Biden just gave the Trump campaign. Consider the commercials they're going to run, the clips they're going to be posting all over social media. They've already won an essential argument: Biden is too old. So now we have less weapons in our arsenal and it's not because Trump is any better than he ever was. It's because Biden is so much worse.
