When President Obasanjo temporarily removed fuel subsidy in 2003 or thereabout, fuel price climbed from N26 to N42. People grumbled as usual, but did you know his response? That, if Nigerians are willing to buy a bottle of beer for more money, why complain about the cost of fuel? Labor Congress wasn’t having it. They protested so hard and nearly crashed the economy and Obasanjo grudgingly reinstated fuel subsidy in 2006! So where did Nigerians learn this culture of suffering and smiling today? How did you go from paying N42 a liter to N1,370 a liter with no pushback?
I hear your pain, like you sacrificed something real and want the same in return. That's not crazy, that's you having a high standard. But let me ask you something hard. You want what you offer. That's fair. But if you demand virginity in a man while offering only virginity yourself, you're treating it like a business transaction. The real question: would you marry a virgin man who is selfish, lazy, or emotionally unavailable? If yes, your standard isn't 'virginity', it's control. If no, then virginity alone doesn't guarantee quality. So ask yourself: do you want a virgin, or do you want a good man? Because those two things are not the same.

As a virgin, I don’t intend marrying a non virgin. I can’t keep myself for over twenty something years and marry a man that has wasted his prime philandering. I want my food fresh and untouched. Heaven knows I’m not asking for too much.
