Two of my all-time favorite movies have a main character named Dorothy. The Wizard of Oz and Jerry Maguire. I also love Tootsie. Wait and A League of Their Own. What does it mean?

She was going to ask if you're child was being abused by anyone in her family because a lot of kids are. Like it's fine that you vetoed it but don't act like she was being malicious this is common and it saves children from things

I took my 11 year old to her checkup this morning and the nurse asked me to step out of the room for a moment. I politely declined and she said, "It's just for a moment." And I told her, "No thank you, given all the stories about children being abused my husband and I decided to never leave our children alone with anyone, even medical providers. Anything you need to do or say you can do with me in the room." She looked all miffed and just left, no idea what her plan was but she didn't feel the need to continue it with me present and that makes me even more suspicious?? When she left my daughter thanked me for not leaving, she's already shy about the doctor, her eyes got so wide when the lady asked me to leave.

@Unseen_Domains I think a big part of the conversion gap might be due to how some people use wishlists more as "on sale" notifications... rather than strictly "let me know when this is out". Probably why a release sale is important, which it looks like Rogue Night did.

8 years solo dev. 7K wishlists. That's real dedication.
The conversion gap is something every indie dev needs to talk about more. Industry median is estimated at 10%+ after week one but that number only works if you spend months warming up your audience before launch.
We're 5 years into Monastery with 5K wishlists and a December launch ahead. The lesson here is clear: wishlists are potential, not promises. We have to find a way to activate them and get them hyped pre-launch.
The good news for Rogue Night: the game is out, reviews are positive, and post-launch marketing is a real thing. Plenty of indie games found their audience after a slow start.

It’s safe to say that Rogue Night may have flopped. Only a 2% conversion rate is painful. The good news is that I can move to the next game quickly.

My most fascist take is that I think it’s cowardly to become a fan of a new team when you move IF THE TEAM IS IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS YOUR ACTUAL HOME TEAM.

Illegal is an adjective. People are nouns.
When you use an adjective in place of a noun for someone, you both dehumanize them and look uneducated at the same time.
