A sad story: In the initial news, terafab was described as terrafab, so I registered the domain terrafab.ai. Later, I didn't follow it anymore until today, when I saw terafab.ai sell for a whopping $170,000. I checked and found that terafab.ai was registered about ten days later than mine. I feel very regretful. If I had kept following this, perhaps I could have registered terafab.ai. But there's no going back. I hope I can learn something from this experience. A 27B model is #2 on pinch-bench You’d need 150,000$ in GPU hours to train this from scratch (base + post training) Basically 1-2 weeks over 256 H100s That is not unreasonable, you’d need 540B tokens for pre-training and a bit more for post training. None of this is crazy
