Vague useless takes like this one (by some guy LARPing as a successful investor) are precisely why people listen to the @1000xPod - we actually stick our necks out on ideas. We’re wrong sometimes but at least we lay it all out on the table.

Last cycle was about chasing new and shiny. I think that’s 20% of this cycle at best. The amount of alpha in governance forums and community calls right now is insane. Some large players working on big pivots and dropping hints, while most of CT asleep at the wheel. Let retail chase shiny memecoins, but there is money on the ground if you take the time to look and get involved in something. And the win rate is far better.

Don't worry guys, Mert says the meme coin with 20+ devs on vesting schedules, totally isn't someone selling OTc and is just one exchange transferring to another exchange, with no user or hot wallet in between.
I'm not even saying your meme coin is going down - it probably won't. I'm just saying props to the dude who is clearly cashing in big.

Fwiw I'm annoyed the team did this and lost a lot on the fees as well. But the team had ballooning costs.
I talked to the team this morning and their now looking at ways to either turn it around or absorb into another project.
Something failing though isn't a rug; and the team has $35k/month server costs at current run rate.
They should have been way more clear in comms, including with investors.
But they are refunding the remaining investments, and I just have to eat losses on the fees I paid on platform.
But it's also night and day from something being a rug. 🤷♂️

- buy MATIC at .90c
- 2y vest - 1y cliff then quarterly unlocks
- the put can be exercised for cash if MATIC < .90 when the tokens vest
- total raise < $5M
