Maresca found a way 2 make us look better nd balance @ d expense of some players tho. Imagine we were out runned by every team lst season.

As much as i like Maresca but man did alot of harm than good before his departure, Enzo was never going to give u a complete performance at LHS, i even expected him to either play Joao Pedro their while drafting Delap as the main man or moved Neto over while Either palmer or Estavio occupied the right

Lille president Olivier Létang will be smiling after watching Ayyoub Bouaddi against Brazil. It was rumored that he wanted €70m to sell him. Now, he will definitely want more. That was an outstanding performance.
Strasbourg's Mourabet was also very good when he came on. I don't think Mourabet is worse than Bouaddi, but they are just different profiles.
Bouaddi is more of a ball-carrying central midfielder, while Mourabet is more like a deep conductor.
The amount of top talent that country is producing at the moment is crazy, and I love their style of football. They actually outplayed a whole Brazil. That says a lot.

The funny thing is that Brazil don't usually produce or play with out-and-out box strikers like Thiago.
I can't remember the last World Cup they had one. Romario and Ronaldo are more like 9.5s than 9s. They can drop deep and play on the shoulder too. All-around footballers.
Thiago is like Lukaku. That's not Brazil, man. I actually thought Carlo was going to start Cunha and use Thiago in the second half if they were chasing the game. Starting him was a big mistake. It handicapped Brazil in possession.

With Igor Thiago's performance last night against Morocco, Carlo Ancelotti must be regretting why he dropped João Pedro from the World Cup squad. João Pedro would never hide like that. No chance. Thiago played 60 minutes and completed just 5 passes. Strikers who get involved in the game are often underrated, but they basically give you extra passing options in games you aren't dominating, while strikers like Thiago and Lukaku will hide because if you don't have the ball, they can't find the ball to pass or score.

@Chelsea_2580 @Blue_Footy He did okay. But he struggled a bit. Having your back against the goal all the time is not easy. When maresca started playing Enzo in the LHS. I was never a fan a bit. Tho he was scoring, Enzo was just kinda average too me playing that role.

@Blue_Footy @eazyCFC I have always said it. I prefer strikers who get involved in the game with his team. It helps the team to create extra passing lanes and not loose the ball easily. It helps the wingers alot. Messi, Hazard, Neymar loves strikers they can exchange quick one twos with.
