I installed Claude Cowork yesterday 2 hours later it had: - Created 3 brilliant pitch deck revisions for projects I’m advising - Responded to 42 telegram DMs asking for various introductions - Reviewed 9 tokenomics drafts and provided feedback with inline comments - Updated all my TradingView alerts and found 19 high R setups - Negotiated 4 tier-1 CEX listing offers and got them all for free - Reviewed market maker performance reports for 14 projects and identified the extractors - Scanned all the trencher chats and identified the next 100x’s 2 months of work. 2 hours. I panicked and closed my laptop. Opened X to look busy. Realized there was nothing to do. Took a walk. Got coffee. Reorganized my desk. Took another walk. It's now 11am the next day and I'm writing this tweet because I genuinely don't know what my job is anymore. My calendar is empty. My to-do list is empty. My inbox is empty.

The wait is over: Combos are officially live for everyone on Kalshi!
Last week alone they did over $100m in volume.
And it's compounding: our app grew 50% in November and we hit another volume record yesterday ~$340m.
In traditional financial markets, traders bundle multi-leg options instead of buying separately to get better prices. Combos offer the same price improvement.
Like with our other markets, there is no house: when you submit a Combo, traders compete in the open market to take the other side.
We keep marching.

Combos are one of the coolest things to come out of prediction markets. I've even seen sports people start to talk about comboing multiple teams together in their plays
Just goes to show how mainstream prediction markets are becoming

When I was a fresh-out-of-grad-school radar engineer a decade ago I used flightradar24 as a sanity-check for low level flight tracking applications I developed for various purposes.

"The only way out is through" - Tarek
As big as Kalshi is now, when I first met Tarek a few years ago, the only takeaway I had: this guy is going through it.
I vividly recall us walking around in Soho and him suddenly needing to stop in the middle of the street, super stressed out, searching for somewhere to sit while I went to the nearest coffee shop to get him a cup of water. He had the full weight of the industry on his shoulders.
When I had some painful professional hardship, Tarek would call often, reminding me that this is part of life, and that you need to have an incredibly high pain threshold to succeed.
When I joined, the government had just rejected our two year long bid to list election markets. I recall morale being at an all time low.
There was a solid 6 months, where nothing was really going right. We had ~ 20 employees, people were leaving, users were churning, others were quietly questioning the vision.
Through it all, the one constant was Tarek and Luana showing up every day for the team.
What I saw in the early days is exactly what I see even now after we just raised $1B: the same effort, unchanged.
Life is a war of attrition: "The only way out is through"
