@TPCarney @ericadyork Yup. Nothing to see here. Just your garden variety assault and battery. A minor scuffle, really. Pathetic.

Well, if the fucking Nazi tattoo, the cheating, the account on the sexual predator website, and literally allthe things that he didn’t dispute about these allegations don’t sync him, then I can’t imagine anything that Democrats wouldn’t overlook.

Every man out there (if they’re being honest) is reading this Graham Platner story and thinking: “gee, what would happen if the biggest newspaper in the country interviewed all of my exes and asked them about our drunken fights?” That’s why this story ultimately won’t land. It won’t end Platner’s campaign

@ElectionCenter_ Platner "subdued" her and "put her" in a room during their "heated" argument - according to you. How, pray tell, did he accomplish that without assaulting her, verbally or physically?

The apparent “assault” is that during what sounds like a heated argument, Platner subdued her and put her in a room, telling her to calm down. That seems to be the extent of any alleged assault.

As you consider who to vote for, consider each candidate and their policy positions. Shut out the noise. Vote for who represents YOU. I refuse to vote for a candidate who dodges debates and forums and won't answer surveys.

He built and ran a successful business He’s served in both the state legislature & federal Congress He knows how government works & how to get things done He has lightyears more experience than every other candidate And he’s the most conservative of all the candidates And he’s from SC…which trumps having an endorsement from anyone in the federal government…even Trump!

South Carolina’s fiscal budget has nearly doubled in the past 10 years. Of course there was reduction in 2025…the year before an election…which is typical of anti-conservative politics. Evette was part of this overbloated budget growth. She is not who we need in the statehouse.
juju_marie1@juju_marie1

There is a growing trend of hardcore Democrats running for office as Republicans. This is how the Democrats plan on deceiving voters to regain control. Purposely dividing Trumps pick to help the Dems. WE KNOW THIS HOAX. REMEMBER-CURTIS SLIWA- HELPED MAMDAMI GET ELECTED. PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEW GRIFTERS.

Wow, you Reddy stumpers are really triggered. But through all the smears all I got out of your rant is… 1-Norman has risen through the political landscape after running a successful business and raised his family since 2005. He’s worked in the state legislature and the US House so he knows how both work and he knows how to get things done. 2-He’s a staunch supporter of 2A, which is a strong stance supported by the majority of South Carolinians. 3-He has a broad sense of humor and he’s bold enough to take shots at political foes who do the same, yet get offended when someone retaliates. 4-He’s pushed to bring businesses and industries to our state to provide jobs and additional income. And despite his opposition to climate alarmist he’s worked with industries that want to operate in the state and the EPA to ensure safe conditions for workers and surrounding communities. 5-He’s a strong advocate for election integrity and voted for the Save America Act. He will ensure safe and fair elections in SC. On the other misleading points you attempt to make… -You obviously don’t know the difference between a “career politician” and someone that decides to move into politics to give back to their communities later in life after they’ve accomplishing other goals. -You don’t support 2A -You don’t appreciate people with a sense of humor -You don’t support bringing businesses to our state to provide jobs and support the states economy -You don’t support election integrity and you are OK with the alternative voting methods Democrats implement under the guise of protecting people from a controversial (now more than ever and becoming more controversial by the day) virus yet have continued even though the virus has subsided. (A wise man once said if you cede your rights to the government due to a crisis, there will always be a crisis!) -It seems you fell for the disinformation that wearing a mask protects you from a virus. Which leads me to question your judgment and practically any issue. -It appears you agreed with Biden’s student loan forgiveness…an issue that no true conservative agrees with. That alone is enough to give any conservative pause when considering your rant and anything you have to say about Ralph Norman! Your boy Reddy isn’t going to win. He isn’t even going to make it to the run-off. But keep up the good work trying to trash Norman. It’s only making your boy look desperate and weak!

@MadMike118 Evette's claims that she is a fighter who will stand firm for South Carolinians is pathetic. She is full of empty promises and would be a disaster as Governor. We need strong, effective, conservative leadership, and she ain't it.

Um, when it comes to South Carolina we want someone who will put South Carolina first even over the federal government. Whoever wins this race will be governor for 8 years. Trump will only have 2 years left. We want someone that won’t bow down to anyone in the federal government or unconditionally tow any party line. We all know this endorsement is your greatest accomplishment of your political career. But we don’t all see it as an entitlement as you seem to, or as justification to become governor of our great state. Maybe that’s how it works in Ohio. But we not in South Carolina!
Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette@PamelaEvette

This race is about one question: Who will stand firm when it is no longer convenient? President @realDonaldTrump's endorsement answers that clearly. He is not choosing based on the comfort of the establishment or political calculation. He is choosing someone he knows will fight for the America first agenda and deliver results for South Carolina. As governor, I will do exactly that. Read my full Op-Ed ➡️postandcourier.com/opinion/commen…

It is rather obvious that NYT story was more of a cover up for Platner than an attempt to reveal the truth. They essentially made the women in the story targets by intentionally withholding so much. I hope other women seriously take note to never trust the reporters or editors involved again. But it doesn’t really matter because the rest will eventually come out. That’s what makes it amazing that so many continue to dig deeper and double down on defending this guy. It also says a lot about the people who are spending all of their time tried to find dirt on Lyndsey and others around her just to cover up for such a person.
Lyndsey Fifield@lyndseyfifield

I bucked all advice from my friends (and resisted my conservative bias) and decided to fully trust the Times journalists. As they left my home they asked that I not talk to any other outlets and I insisted then and repeatedly over the following weeks that I would keep my word and only share this story with them. But then the weeks dragged on. They kept coming back to us saying the editors needed more. I needed to go on the record (okay). We need more screenshots (okay). I met every bench mark they set, eager to provide more sources or evidence as needed. After the story went up I began to ask them … wait, where are the stories from the other women? Where are their accusations of sexual assault? Why am I the focus? Why are there 11 paragraphs dedicated to detailing my work history (more than has been published about Graham’s by far)? Why does it say “nobody could corroborate” when I offered them sources that COULD corroborate? Why did they include an out of context quote from a friend joking “do not call Graham” after I called off my wedding? (Because she knew I would never). Where were the screenshots they’d said they would use? Or the mention that I’d supported local democrats and that most of my family (and husband) are liberal? The editors said it was too much, they explained. The Times also failed to include any mention that I DID confide in multiple friends through the years that Graham had been abusive — long before he was running for office. Those friends confirm they told the Times so. It dawned on me that this really was a set up all along. The journalists I trusted who convinced me to share a story I never wanted to tell methodically delayed and twisted this into a gift to the Platner campaign. Violating the trust of his victims. Shattering the trust I placed in them with the most vulnerable story of my life. And at the end of my call with them I reluctantly accepted their insistence that this was still a powerful story and that I had done a brave thing. And I thanked them for all the hard work they had put into it. Still fawning after all these years.
