I am curios why did Moha Jicho pevu and Ndindi Nyoro fall out with Ruto? Those are some of the MPs who gave Ruto some legitimacy in the previous election. Young,tenacious and objectively loquacious,I am very curios to know,those are the kind of MPs you lose and it feels like you’re losing ground. For example all of us knew Baba lost a great soldier in Ababu Namwamba when he left ODM and subsequently people like Mvurya and Kingi left eating so much into Baba’s coastal votes. Feel the same losing such young vibrant mps.

Sad is it may sound, the truth is that the unemployed, readily available in the streets: who earn no salary and pay no or negligible taxes, pay no license fees and levies constitute majority voters in Kenya. After they are done with, the minority middle and upper classes in offices bear the burden of financing Government. Think about it.

How is Ruto entitled to sell public amenities? And if he has sold Kenya Pipeline, how will he use the money? Where will this money be channeled? I’m not understanding. Does the Constitution of Kenya allow that?

Today in the Senate, at the Committee on Devolution, I raised serious concerns about the agreement between the National Government and Nairobi City County, commonly referred to as the Nairobi Cooperation Deal. Though I fully support collaboration between the two levels of government, it must be done within the law. What we are witnessing is a process that appears to have sidelined the County Assembly and excluded both the Senate & the public. That is not just wrong, it undermines the very foundation of devolution. Governance must never be conducted through shortcuts or backdoor arrangements. I remain firmly committed to defending devolution and ensuring that all decisions affecting wananchi are made transparently, lawfully, and with proper oversight.

As Safina Party, we will shift national spending away from perpetual debt servicing and into human capital investment. Primary education, secondary education, and TVET will not be treated as secondary priorities, they are the core infrastructure of a productive economy. A country cannot industrialize its future while outsourcing its present to creditors.

@GathogoBMwangi Yes, statehouse has been profligate but look at the entire line expenditures & you realize there is a big difference. Some lines left out in Uhuru's summation but thrown in on current to raise the numbers & manufacture rage.

William Ruto has spent 89 Billion in 4 years while Uhuru spent 90 Billion over 10years in Statehouse affairs. Literally an unashamed thief and misuse of public money.
