A CalExpo stadium would just be Portland State 2.0. Sac State should be worried about filling their current stadium that is ON campus and only filling up 60-70% on game day. Moving 3 miles north across a river is not fixing that.

I love Sac State. Without them I wouldn’t have the career I have and I’m eternally grateful. I love them enough to tell them that this project is not a good idea and not worth compromising our football program. Put your ego aside, take it on the chin, and build or expand on campus with money you have. Just because I disagree with there football plan doesn’t mean I hate Sac State. I refuse to follow anyone blindly. I made that mistake with sac republic and not doing that again with sac state football. Make it make sense.

They had ‘committed money’ if certain companies got favorable contracts. they also had absurd demands for what was to be done with the coliseum… fucked up 3 teams in 5 years

Good luck with your anger. Maybe go to a city council meeting and contribute to the solutions rather than just being angry at the problem
