Our team was on the ground in Michigan this week to learn about @MichiganEGLE's Healthy Climate Corps and the AmeriCorps Climate READY program. We had a great time with ACC members who are focused on weatherizing buildings, siting solar energy and restoring brownfield sites⚡️
This National Public Lands Day, @POTUS’ American Climate Corps is stewarding the lands and waters we all love. Today, I joined Student Conservation Association volunteers at Fort Dupont Park in Washington, DC to pick up trash, enhance trails, and remove invasive plants.
At @USDOL, we are laser-focused on building good career pathways for young people. The @ClimateCorpsUS helps achieve both our good jobs goals AND our climate goals. I was honored to swear in its newest members at the Oconaluftee @DOLJobCorps Civilian Conservation Center!
