@NickBahe I officiated over 1000 games before I hung it up. It is 100% on the team. However, preventative officiating takes care of this every time and not once did a team I was officiating play a prominent possession down a man. It is such an easy thing to take care of before inbounding.

Inexcusable & failure on a lot of levels to only have 4 players on the floor, but technically the officials are supposed to count 5 players on each team before beginning play. It is just like if you have 6 players on the floor.

@bunts_dunks Id love to have it be a completely lost season.But I think your coach is too good and I think those pieces will all gel and you wont recognize them as the same team by midJanuary.I wont allow myself to think it will get that bad, and I’m the eternal optimist. Or pessimistic here?

or maybe they fumblefuck through it, show sizable growth, highlight the good (like harper, greer, green) and find ways to let them shine. maybe they'll shine in big moments, if they find ways to get them. there's a lot of season left, I'm fascinated to see which direction they go

the thing about this year's creighton team is that they have no identity, chemistry, and star. as an expert analyst (i got a monthly $50 check from sbnation for a couple years) i can say that teams without those three things will not be good at college basketball

@NEZtakes What we need to remember for next year: We all timed it out so we didn’t enter after 8/4 because drafts take 17 days. All drafts after that take way longer because we all have too many to keep up. The date is probably closer to 21 days before

@BigLoaf_Fantasy They go down to 4 hour clocks 2 weeks before the start of the season. That puts us at 8/21. I give slow drafts a regular timeframe of 16-18 days. I’m entering my last slow draft volume tomorrow, so most of my slows are wrapped before the clock decrease.

It’s my first year doing any slow drafts Can someone tell me roughly how many days out from the season you should STOP entering them? I don’t want to have to deal with the clock moving from 8 hours down to 4 down to 2 etc
