The @NCAA’s 8 hour Out of Playing Season Rule/Restriction needs to be re-evaluated especially in new Transfer/NIL Era. If players want to get better, they should be able to work with their coaches when they want. Putting time limits on Players is limiting their development/pursuit of goals & dreams. Doesn’t make sense.

Reading this, I’m curious about one thing. Why would they consider shutting down their programs? Why not try to enhance it to where it competes with the U.S. system? I feel like there is a good chance they could take advantage as the US system is unpredictable

I 100% agree, and I also believe the overall system of American basketball is behind other countries from the grassroots level to the pros.
