Everybody wants discipline… until discipline gets loud.
Everybody wants toughness… until toughness gets uncomfortable. Hard coaching isn’t abuse.
Hard coaching is correction.
Hard coaching is standards.
Hard coaching is loving a kid enough not to let him stay average. If a coach is demanding effort, detail, toughness, and accountability bothers you… that probably says more about today’s culture than it does the coach.

Something that is really disappointing in the "battle" of being a multi sport HS athlete vs a club, travel, AAU yearlong one sport athlete is when school personnel, and some are administrators, are the ones encouraging the specialization aspect. JUST UNBELIVEABLE!

TRUTH

If you enter the transfer portal from a team that finished below .500, and you weren't an All-Conference player, I hope you PLAN on transferring "down." You don't have to enter the portal just for the sake of doing it. So many people seeking greener pastures that do not exist.
